TBH the whole council system is currently ass backwards. Whitelisted people should be punishable normally by mods, and then the council should handle APPEALS.

If it was my choice, they woulda lost their whitelists but I wasn't able to. The context there is what is key, the difference being that one banned shotguns which got reverted in round and the other griefing someone with admin powers who couldn't be punished in that round.

The fact that one of these people are now one of the admins of this server is worrying, then.

The new staff team isnt that team now. Most moderators will call you out or tell you something if you've done some dumb shit.
When i was a moderator and i was deploying planetside as a CE doing CAS and building barricades in the frontlines. Someone called me out in the mod team and that i shouldnt do that.
I have people who i could talk to if i had some concerns about someone. I dont know if the past staff team had that privilege.
The keyword here is "back then". Back then is not the present.

Perhaps Rob made a mistake back than, but hes a hell of a lot better now and someone who I trust to make rational and logical calls.

I respect him. I don't worry about him in the slightest, I trust him to run the pred council. And if your worrying about some of our staff, to be frank with you I am surprised you didn't name me first.

Mandalore, the original post was a joke. Most of the captains are at least okay, I haven't seen a CO say 'fuck briefing go kill things' any time in recent memory.
