    So the current winrate...

    What you believe is the biggest issue for the winrate currently( Feb. 2020)?

    Current observation...

    Capturing is lower but not significant enough to cause current win/lose rate. Aliens have won before with close to no captures thus does not explain current issues.

    Shotgun meta-more or less has not changed at all

    LTB-TOW Nothing changed still OP when on the field but doesnt always appear or make much a impact

    Alien skill, might have less robust alien players but if this is the case finding ways to make aliens more fun are needed or we got to accept that when robustos play aliens it will always be unbalanced. Generally though don't see much differences in alien skill. Saying that aliens need nerfs for robustos to play is horrifically bad idea but every so often kicked around, would just make it ONLY robustos can carry the aliens... were they can easily get sniped and killed by nades, fire support, rpg, bad luck, and other stuff.
    Any rate common alien players are still seen with robustos sometimes giving that extra umph so doesn't explain win rate.

    Mortar? Still pure ass in special conditions but rare to see full abuse of it.

    Metarushes? Different month same ol metarushes, still constant



    Known game changing factors...

    Fatty Meta is in, basically go all into fatty bombs and just delete the aliens. Logic is bomb drops about 3-6 seconds after ordering for drop so from laz to drop you got 5-10 seconds to run before instant dying.

    Main issue with fatty meta is it does not explain all instances so other underlying issues are at play.


    These are my observations give yours. Main goal is to find issues for aliens when dealing with marines and find causes of low win rate

    Xeno skill has been continually decreasing over the course of several years. This, combined with robust players learning that CAS/Mortar are the keys to winning, are the main reasons why marines are able to pull off consistent wins. Specs aren't really that good at handling xenos when compared to fire support.

    Aliens are balanced over their the least skilled players. Marines are balanced over their most skilled players.

    they keep making it harder to permakill a marine, they never fixed delimbs so aliens cant attrition marines as much, they made armor fucking stupid so you are good until your armor gets deleted then you die in 2 seconds, CAS and Mortar are way too good when aliens are attacking fob because they made fobs unbreakable, and defcon puts aliens on the offensive and forces them to push and get killed on fob (because aliens cant seige for shit) unlike back in the day where marines would be on the offensive and get worn down.

    and also ssethxenos suck.

    Xenos can siege REALLY easily with boilers. The average boiler player is just too smoothbrained to do anything besides sit near a 2 tile wide choke and spam neuro gas at it.

    I would add to that, that a single spitter is perfectly capable of keeping several marines behind barricades occupied by continuously harassing them, while the rest of the hive prepares an offensive from a different angle. It all boils down to tactics.

    Boilers can seige really easily, spitters can spit at cades, crushers can ram cades, every other xeno is completely useless in a seige. Marines can have 50 mini engineers running around, and just repair all the cades with infinite metal. I have seen many rounds where fob fights last an hour then xenos get pushed back having killed no one and losing 20+ xenos.

    Notice 99% of seiges never work until queen shows up. because shes the only one that can do shit to win a seige. Yall are 100% wrong.
