    Xenos Evolve 2-4x as Fast

    Why is this the case? Why is it not in the changelog that they have almost quadrupled maturation rates? It says doubled in the changelog, but xenos have Ancient T3s by around 12:45-13:00.

    My guess they accidently made xenos evolve+mature 2-4x faster for the whole game rather then just the frist 10 or 20 minutes but after seeing the new win rate thought it was good enough and metarushes were dead so all was good...

    It isn't because STILL the main problem of fatties killing tier 3s and everyone else because marines hide the laser behind walls or because you wont know an instant kill bomb is going to drop till you find the laser and then you got basically .5 seconds to gtfo or die. Take note it doesnt take killing half the xeno team it just takes killing a few of your good but unlucky tier 3s to break the xeno back. It just now it doesnt mean as much because even though your boilers all died you got those sweet 5 other ancient tier 3s to win the day... God are we back to roundstart LTB-TOW again?

    Maybe xenos should start respecting direct fire CAS? Most of them will do stupid shit like dance on top of the laser or ignore it.

    This was the obvious answer, we all know it. Same with the mortar incen shells shooting out pissweak green flames instead of sort of useful red flames.

    And Inci nades. Monkey Dev said that he supposedly "buffed" flamer recently. From December 12 there is not even one mention of "Flamer" and there is only one mention of "Flames" - The same day, they can go trough grille now.

    Also certaing things are in Changelog, but are missing from the game. Survival skill doesn't exist. HUD preferences doesn't work. But slug nerf works perfectly for some unknown reason.

    lol yall are freaking out about nothing. They doubled the mutation/evolution rate a LONG time ago. Now they double it again. thats 4x.

    Doubled, yes. Not quadrupled. Doubling the maturity/evo bonus should not result in t3 xenos being ancient by the time marines encounter them.

    Even late into the round (13:30) you can get ancient T1 in about 12-14 minutes (defender, counting from being larvae).

    Just to note, Neth has stated on multiple occasions that he wants to get rid of maturity stats entirely because they cause two major problems:

    1. Young xenos would just wait around the nest doing nothing until they matured. That's bad game design.

    2. Metarushes were caused by the Xenos being too weak within the first 40 minutes of the game to hold off marines. Fixing maturity goes a long ways towards a holistic, unintrusive way of stopping metarushes.
