    Yautja Character Story
The blooding ritual was a ceremony all Yautja went through in one way or another; to fall was unthinkable, but Gautha’kan looked that fate in the face as the R’ka warrior breed loomed over him, preparing to strike at his throat with its scythe-like tail. Time had seemed to slow for Gautha’kan, had his thoughts been clear he would have realized this was simply his body pumping the last reserves of Adrenaline through him before he died. But he saw it not as some biological reaction, but the direct intervention of Kehrite Bhu’ja; with a roar Gautha’kan rushed forward lifting up the warrior and slammed it into the wall of the stone ruin he had found himself in on this hunt.

A furious rage bubbled up through Gautha’kan as a mixture of blood and the slightly acidic rain of this world trickled into his mouth, ‘No weapons, no chance’ was a maxim he had drilled into himself in preparation for this day. Rather than let his rage slip into a hopelessness at defeating the R’ka that was even now writhing out of its stunned state, he harnessed it, and let loose a roar that caused small stones and dust to shudder from the walls, and slammed his fist into the Warrior’s crested head, a spurt of acidic blood covering his hand elicited another roar, and Gautha’kan grasped the warrior’s tail with his still functioning hand, and then tore it off with a mighty push of his leg and then slamming it downward just off center of the R’ka’s head.

Lightning crashed as Gautha’kan roared his praise to Kehrite Bhu’ja, lifting the now impaled Xenomorph head to the skies in triumph, even as his right hand sizzled from the acidic blood being washed off by the rain. Gautha'kan stood there for a moment, taking in his triumph, before tearing off one of the R'ka's digits, and using it to carve a sign into his face, marking him as blooded. Even as the rage that had kept him going through the battle faded, Gautha'kan felt relief, his worst fear hadn't been realized, and he had proven himself as a capable hunter.

In the time since his blooding Gautha'kan hunted with a ferocity and aggressiveness that was rarely seen and usually ill-advised, there were those of his peers who likened him to a flame in a storm, bright but swift to burn out. Despite his atypical method of hunting, Gautha'kan continued to triumph against the R'ka for some time, his pride was as high as the accolades he gathered in the name of his god until he encountered humanity for the first time.

A group of colonial marines had constructed a garrison upon a designated hunting world, and Gautha'kan, previously hearing of the human's weakness and affronted by this act pushed to deal with them. Here he learned of the folly of his pride, the complacency he had fallen into by facing the same foe too often. His attempts to engage the marines in honor duels were met with arena's trapped with high explosives. His hunts were met with motion trackers and flamethrowers; this was a far different battle than the one he usually faced, and his right hand ached with the pain of an old wound at the sense he would not be able to drive off these vermin alone.

Gautha'kan's plasma caster, a weapon he usually was reticent to use was employed to full effect here, rapidly firing into patrolling teams, eventually after a long and protracted guerilla campaign, one that would of been ended much sooner had Gautha'kan relented and called for aid, rather than continuously antagonizing the patrolling marines; the marines retreated abandoning the garrison to the grips of nature. Gautha'kan had he been of a calmer temperament may have respected the tenacity of the human race after that but instead, all he felt was contempt, at the dishonorable nature and weakness the humans displayed.

Frustration grew in Gautha'kan as he returned to hunting the R'ka in earnest, that foe who was of a challenge but one Gautha'kan could prove dominance over repeatedly. After another successful hunt against the R'ka, one where Gautha'kan felt little satisfaction, he secluded himself on board his vessel, contemplating on why the joy had drained from his life. After many days spent in seclusion, an epiphany came to Gautha'kan, the reason he had been seeking was in the very humans he held such a deep-seated contempt for, he had proven dominance over the R'ka, and whilst that dominance must be maintained by repeated hunts, he had not proven any such thing against humanity, who he had spent an almost shameful period of time trying to expel from a hunting planet.

Gautha'kan swung down from the bar he had been holding himself on for the duration of his seclusion, sweat running down his dreadlocks. He would seek out a hunt following the footsteps of the humans, and prove to himself, and to Kehrite Bhu'ja, that he was an apex hunter who could not be felled by any prey, regardless of their tactics.

Describe how your Yautja acts, and how you intend to play them
I intend to have Gautha’kan act as an apex hunter, going after what he sees as the strongest prey of either side and fighting them until death (such as robust marines or old/high tier Xenos, not the Queen or the marine CO due to possible round ruining), perhaps trapping them in such a manner that the only way out is to kill Gautha’kan. Gautha’kan has a sharp intellect, but that is often drowned beneath tides of rage if he feels he is even close to losing a battle, this would be played out as fighting more erratically and aggressively the more injured he becomes during a combat.

Additionally Gautha’kan would have become deeply reverent of Kehrite Bhu’ja due to the events of his blooding ritual and would offer up trophies to him in makeshift shrines (that marines/survivors could possibly find?) and perform elaborate ceremonies to him when not hunting for the next trophy to offer up.

In your own words, describe the difference between an honor duel and a hunt
An honor duel is what Gautha’Kan hopes to establish whenever possible and is when an opponent of adequate health challenges the Predator to a duel. A duel would mean that the Predator couldn’t use external help from others, healing tools, ranged weaponry, or anything else that provides an unfair advantage over the opponent.

A hunt is where a Predator seeks prey that can offer up a worthy trophy or glory, for example a CIC officer being on the surface or an ancient xenomorph / tier 3 Xenomorph.

How do you intend on interacting with other predators during a round?
I'd likely talk to them on the nature of the Yautja deities and ask if they've spotted any worthy trophies wandering around recently.

Possibly go on group hunts together/set traps or build arenas if they're interested in cooperation.

Why do you want a predator whitelist?
Roleplaying as a Predator has been a long-time dream of mine, the culture and aesthetic of the Predators is just fascinating to me, and being able to adequately portray one in a game would be amazing for me.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
    Yes

Do you understand that you cannot advertise your application on any platform for votes. Do you also understand you may not edit this application 1 hour after it has been posted?

    No

    Hi there, Skane10634

Unfortunately you only have 19.5hrs (All of them this month) of playtime since August. This is not nearly enough play time to be able justify an acceptance on this WL.

I am going to ask that you please get more playtime in and become more active within the community.

    This application is denied.
