I like the idea. I like it a lot. Now sorry to destroy your hopes and dreams but I'll tell you why this won't work.
The main stand point is: we don't nearly enough staff power to do that. from dev to staff itself. Three mods retired and one of those retirement i belive (i'm unable to confirm, so is a hypothesis) it's duo burnout.
Second: Byond is way too buggy and it's already struggling to deal with our current code where Whiskey outpost broke beyond repair and rounds beyond 2 hours are insanely laggy and when we hit 200 pop, rounds beyond 2 hours are unplayable.
Maybe on the future where Lummox turn byond into a Multithread Platform or we port CM out of the Byond platform or by some miracle SS14 code becomes a lot better and alot easier to deal than ss13 code.
