    Marine Helmet Cosmetics.

Been looking through what you can do to change your helmet sprite, and I was wondering what you can put in besides ballistics and smokes and what not. Also what do you use to make your helmet fancier than the nerds around you?

At the character panel you can "buy" stuff to spawn with and most of that is helmet cosmetics.

Rain Cover looks the coolest, changing almost entire helmet for a kind of spec-ops black.
Netting is pretty shitty, unless used with Rain Cover.
Pins outside "Peace and Smile" are too small and their colour makes them blend into helmet.
Rabbit Paw and Rosary are just a bunch of pixels.
    Feather looks nice.

Handfull of shotgun shells is always both cool and practical.
Flasks with Unga Juice is a bit hard to notice.
EAT bars are good enough on helmet.
Most of the eye accessories fit on helmet too. Welding goggles make it pratical.
Headset needs other colour to not blend with helmet.
If you can't get unga juice, you can always put autoinjectors, but they only give some kind of a belt around the helmet.
Headbands look bad in my opinion on helmet.

Thats probably pretty much everything you can put in helmet for it to change sprite.

Ahh, so that's how the pins worked. Was wondering that. Thanks chief.

Ballistic goggles are a great standby, but I'm also fond of shotgun shells with the rain cover for high contrast. You can also stick some loose bullets in your helmet and they will appear, if you want to show the world you're not a shotgun main.

Throwing knives fit in the helmet but IIRC they just show like a band wrapped around it rather than getting a sprite. Playing cards are an option, too, so the world can know that someone took the ace cards already (and most of the spades) so you're the jack of hearts

Helmet burrito is the best helmet flair. You can't convince me otherwise.

Huh, I didn't know the rosary goes on helmets, I always wondered if it had any use since you can't wear it around your neck.

So... do prescription glasses placed on the helmet actually work? Or are you still blind for the last 2 tiles out?

Put a CHUNK bar in the helmet and it makes you look like Master Chief when viewed from behind. This isn't a joke, the CHUNK bar is so fucking big that it actually makes you look different.

You can put gun oil in your helmet to have a little canister by the side, I usually do that and have a walkman playing whatever I'm into at the time.

Sometimes putting buckshot in the helmet looks alright, but i'd put practical storage over anything else in the long run. Autoinjectors or protein bars go a long way in that relatively small item storage spot, and the former even has a small sprite iirc.
