just got a new PC today and wanted to try SS13 CM. thing is CM wont load at all, only thing is see is that dream seeker may be having problems. any idea how to fix it or what might be causing it?

Uh, try rejoining the game a bunch of times and see if anything changes.
Otherwise you can try ending Dream Seeker and BYOND both in Task Manager, or go to the taskbar in the bottom right, click the arrow to expand, right click on the BYOND icon and hit ‘Close’. These’ll force BYOND to restart.
These are just generic solutions, can’t really do much else without actually troubleshooting. So:
1. What does your Dream Seeker window say 15 seconds after opening, if anything? Is it otherwise just a black screen?
2. Will Dream Seeker ever open at all or does the window not appear?
3. Have you tried loading at different times of day? It’s entirely possible you might’ve joined right when a map reloaded if you only tried once.
4. Is your internet stable? Having internet issues can have BYOND run into hiccups especially if your internet speed drops suddenly (check Task Manager’s Performance tab).

Keith you might be getting hit with the roundstart lobby bug. It's a curse that affects a few players. Basically right before the round starts the lobby screen DDOS's clients with a list of players who are READY. It does this every tick and it's madness. If you think bullet spam logs were bad, try 150 logs shooting out to show you IF BEN CARSON IS READY? OR NOT READY? Whhhhhyyy dear god. All they have to do is delete a few lines of code to fix this...
you know those three dots you see when you load a station? i don't even get that for CM just your game will begin shortly. then it stops and won't do anything just says dream seeker is having a bad day and can't get to byound.
got it had to update beta, but now all the text is small as hell.likle can't read states or any thing it's so small.
