    Question Don't cryo PFCs

I mean, they don't take up job slots. I get cryoing a medic or engineer, but a PFC might just like, disconnect, then come back an hour later ready to kill some benos, but end up being a ghost because they got cryoed. I can understand looting them, because everything a PFC starts with, they can pretty easily get back and still be ready to kill some benos, but like, just don't cryo 'em I guess. What do you guys think? Should SSD PFCs be cryoed?

When I play doctor, I usually start cryoing PFCs when the three chairs in southern medbay are full with SSDs already. Simply because I can’t stand having dead weight stacked everywhere.

But yeah, in general there is little point to cryoing PFCs.

Though, doesn’t cryo send you back to the char select screen, rather than just ghosting you?

Cryoing force ghosts you if you are offline. If it sent you to lobby then that'd be respawn.

And as for getting rid of dead weight in medical, just toss them into PO office lobby room.

They make so benos can have higher max number cap, so there is OOC reason to cryo them.
Since DEFCON can give marines you can quite easly get back to the game if you disconnect for an hour.

I just cryo them because if the DS crashes then those same marines become free caps. Additionally, cryo'd marines' gear is sent to req so that it can be better put to use for new marines.

As a doctor, I Cryo SSD marines regardless of rank after 12:45. I don’t touch them before hand except to drag them out of the room with the scanners and autodocs. Main reason is that once the wounded start coming in, I may not have time to leave medical, and having bodies around that could be mistaken for actual patients adds to the confusion of an already busy medical bay.

The best thing to do with SSD PFCs is actually to kill them and put them into the morgue, but that violates marine law.

And also violates OOC rule and you will get a note or even a ban, don't do that, just leave them to sleep.
