I just cryo them because if the DS crashes then those same marines become free caps. Additionally, cryo'd marines' gear is sent to req so that it can be better put to use for new marines.

They will not burst before the round ends.

I mean, it really depends on who you're sending to cryo. If they've only been away for like a few minutes or so it's best to drop them off somewhere where they won't get in the way. But if they've been gone for like 30-45 minutes or more, and it's evident they're not coming back, by all means stuff them into the hypersleep chamber -- their equipment'll be recycled as mentioned before too.

But sometimes there're cases where someone's internet dies, they gotta go eat lunch, or just have something IRL that they need to get done that's more important than playing the game. You shouldn't cryo people just because they're SSD on first sight - maybe they wanted to come back to play the game after whatever they were doing was sorted.

They really should make a "recovery room" similar to the beds in the barracks, near the hospital.

Just a place with 10 beds to put afk marines.

I try to stuff everyone back into cryo cells as soon as the round starts. Awake, AFK, SSD, doesn't matter to me.
