Description of the incident:

In landing zone 1 in Ice Colony map, we have been flanked in north and east side of colony but most of us focus in east which is the Alamo because the queen was there and holding with some other xenos.

While some marines are pushing, someone threw a spamming nades while others are pushing in west door of alamo, when the nade blown up everyone is down and the B18 Spec Martin Simmons keep throwing it until everyone is dead. He was throwing a nades while others are trying to stand and trying to pullback in a safezone and others are down or dead somehow.

It's not a friendly fire, it's being a dumb for spamming a nades in the middle of a push.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc):

None but I am sure there is a witnesses.

How you would punish the accused:

Ban for being a specialist or give him a warning. This player isn't a baldie.

I forgot it but after the round, I ahelp it and TheMusician just replied meh a "Thanks!"

PS: I did something in real life situation that's why I forgot to ahelp it immediately.

In my opinion, I can say it was not an ic issue. Even how baldie or known player you are, you cannot just hit everybody while marines are pushing in west alamo door. I died and while watching it marines are trying to stand up so they can fallback but sad to say the spam isn't ending.

I have been seeing the scene and to be honest, yeah it killed like 4 marines but it also stunned a few times some xenos. This is a typical case of bald/not giving a fuck about others life marine and pretty much IC in my opinion.

Mate, I'll be honest with you.

Those nades did, YES, killed the marines but in the same time stunned the xenos (as you can see in the logs), that could have been killed if the two other marines with Simmons used their M41A. I believe this is not griefing because as the rule states: "Griefing is the intent of one player wanting to cause grief or annoyance to other players or the server without a valid roleplay reason". Here, you have a valid RP reason which is trying to recover the Alamo to evac. And to be honest, in the same position as Simmons, I would probably have done the same because who cares about 4 marines life when you can kill 2 xenos, potentially recover the Alamo and then get them revived. However, I'm not a staff member, nor you are, so any of us can give a final judgement on the rules, we are just giving opinions.

I can understand the fact you are angry against him (Even tho, I was really annoyed by your salt in deadchat but eh... It happens to everyone), like any case of FF, and that's part of the game. However from my point of view it has nothing different from a casual FF case.

Moreover, I did not call Simmons a baldie, I just compared him to the similar marines types that would have done the same actions he did.

Do not take my witness as a personnal attack, I'm just here to give my point of view to help the staff doing their duties. Have a Nice CM day
