While unfortunately another completely new set of issues popped up that are the latest cancer killing CM, the voting system had finally fixed what was my main gripe with cm for the longest time - the hellish lv-br cycle.

Do these two maps suck? No, not at all.
Are they good? Yes, they're still the best made maps and the most fun to play on average. Easy to understand, little to no dead space to get lost in, the flow is compact and straight forward.
What was my issue then? Us playing the maps to death. That got so fucking boring so fucking fast.

The new maps have their own positive and negative features, and truthfully LV and BR still get voted fkr most by far, and will continue to get voted the most for the foreseeable future. I'm just happy we can actually play ice and trijent once in a time and help the playerbase in general learn those maps better as well

I like it but their should be better pop limits for maps if corsat is getting voted on lowpop, also wouldent it be nice if we just turned ice underground into a separate lowpop map (or if we just had another lowpop map)

Just halve the saved votes every round. No longer will you get a map because people 8 hours ago wanted it.

There’s no way to make everyone happy. Even if you set it so that some days were nothing but LV & BR, and others were nothing but the other maps, people would complain because you didn’t match the rotation to meet their exact schedule.

I like the new system. I’ve been playing since the latter part of last year and there were still maps I’d never played on. Granted, now that I have played on them, I can see that some are total lagfests, like CORSAT and Soro. But not having the choice to play every map was in itself very frustrating. With the new system, more popular maps still get chosen more often, it’s just now, the other maps have a chance of being played.
