    Xenomorph Common Sense

I opened this thread in hope of fellow Xenomorph players to share things that anyone should be able to do and should know can be done. Here's my Contribution, feel free to call me a noob and/or complete with your own additions:

    Carrier:

In LV-426, you can pick-up ??? Facehuggers in research dome and drop them anywhere on the map, thus being able to hide your traps. Make sure to first make your trap, put a normal hugger in and then drop the triple digit chromosomed facehugger on top

    Defender:

Headbutting will make you go through unbarbed cades

    Spitter/Sentinel/Drone:

On Prison Station head to chapel and melt the barricades ASAP

    Runner/Lurker/Warrior:

Don't fight more than 2 shotgun users, as if you pounce one, the other will have an extremely easy time in PBing you

As a Runner if you NEED to fight a single shotgun user, you can safely slash them once and back off before pouncing them again

As A lurker you can safely slash them twice before backing off

    Praetorian:

Heal the Xenomorph with the most Armor at the moment IE: Defender,Crusher, other Praetorians, Carrier

    All Xenomorphs:

Don't fuck with survivors if you are two of the following: a/Less than an Elder T1, Mature T2 or Young T3, are alone and away from support, are on fucking Prison Station (They get guns for days), are unrobust.

    Queen:

Don't focus on healing a single runner/lurker so he can get those kills in one random spot in the jungle while your T2 and T3 are fighting at the frontline

Ravangers just because you are fire immune doesnt mean everyone is.

Stop standing behind me in a tile on fire.

I'm planning to compile a notepad and guide based on this and possibly spreading this as queen/xeno in-game

Also I might also be lacking some Xeno common sense so I thought why not

Before going hivelord yourself, take a round or two to observe a good hive lord at work.

Don’t actively seek out combat if you’re not a combat caste.

    Don’t bunch up.

If you can melt things, melt everything, starting with AP ammo, followed by guns.

Marines always OB the LZ after xenos overrun it. Always.

It's usually not worth it to fight someone alone who looks like they know how to use a shotgun at even elder T2.

    - Don't build squares 1 tile apart. (Try to account for the population of the server - lag when you build. Doing 2 apart gives everyone enough room to maneuver, and building wider gives everyone enough room to move when OB/CAS/etc starts up)

    - Don't build rows of doors.

    - Walls are stronger than doors.

    - During the heavy fighting (with queen or competent T3s) try to fight AROUND your T3s not directly behind or else you might accidentally body block a T3 to death

If you don't have anything to do and marines haven't arrived go out onto the map and break APCs. Or chairs. Or anything destructable.
