    they should get rid of admin intervention to end rounds

    stalemates are a feature and waiting in d-chat is part of the game and admins shouldnt intervene because people are impatient

    Waiting 6 hours because Young queen doesn't want to leave the corner of the map shouldn't be fine.

    stalemates are stalemates because neither side feels confident/forced to play their hand.

    i dont know whats the appeal with waiting a lot of hours for someone to do something (looking at you young queens and CIC)

    So what you are saying is that at around 80 ghosts should cross their arms in deadchat as they await more than 5 hours for either FOB defenders or xenomorphs escaping to the far edge of the map to take their move and actually push? Buddy. That's not how it works. It's not fun for both sides. Staff intervention is 100% needed when that kind of bullshit happens.

    back in the day we used to wait. also hijack after 20 minutes didn't end the round, we just played for 3 more hours.

    why dont we set out guidelines for when you are and aren't allowed to delay?

    egregious offenders could be met with automated bans like the EORG system

    The system regarding delays is good now, there is no reason to start banning people because they delayed when you can just tell them to push. If they refuse they usually get deleted or abombed

    Better to just have a stalemate feature. Once the round hits 2.5 hours and no hijack, alert xenos and marines that they've only got 30 minutes left to win. At 3:00, end it in a stalemate. No side wins.

    As for the last few xenos delaying, it automatically ends in a marine major if there is no queen for 20 minutes. This timer would probably be better reduced to 10 minutes

    I don't know what day that was, but during my time (3years) there was heavy admin intervention to keep rounds moving.
