    Back on topic, new maturity feels pretty nice. No more helpless despair at seeing “Young Ravager XX-420 has died to point blank buckshot at secure dome”, at least now the brain dead t3s have a chance to get out of sticky situations while the unga swarm still has good chances at taking them out. I think there could still be some more tweaking of the values for some of the castes, but overall it feels pretty good.

    Macros should honestly be removed.

    Unpopular opinion, but macros create another gameplay style which has to be balanced.

    We already have so many different levels of gameplay which has to be balanced, low-pop, med-pop and high pop for each side, each caste, each weapon.

    Trying to make these things balanced for the "REGULAR" SS13 player, however when you have people who can use macros to make the "base level of effectiveness" higher, you get an imbalance which usually results in to the balance for the "regular SS13" boi getting weaker.

    Removal of macros would be good as long as a lot of the basic usability is improved. Shotguns shouldn't need to be pumped manually, that's just dumb as fuck, and having to set a button just so you can do the EXTREMELY important action of 'resist' is also dumb.

    ...but that's how I do it. And I only get mocked by deadchat for being unrobust every other round.

    Macros only exist because of ss13 clunkiness

    In a normal game, everything people currently macro would be a hotkey by default
