Proceeding to your questions:
1. Two MPs kidnap the CMP by drugging him to sleep, then kidnapping them to the execution chair as a prank. They're the only MPs on the ship besides the CMP. What is your course of action?
If CIC is full and well manned, I would either deputize one of my SOs or even the XO for limited time to replace the MPs and assist the CMP, and both MPs would be arrested for Illegal Confinement and Neglect of duty.
2. It's been a 2 hour round going back and fourth what is your idea of breaking the stale mate?
If the round is in a stalemate, which is quite frequent sometimes, when none of the sides steamroll, I usually tend to play around DEFCON to break it through Spec Kits, OB warheads to incentivate a push or even the nuke as a last resort. I inform the Platoon about terminals that need to be made, weak enemy positions and everything they may need to end the operation, even with low numbers. As a CO, I would try to head down to lead our forces into a offensive if possible, a thing I cant do as XO alone.
3. You deploy and the XO gets assassinated by a bunch of unga delta's what are you going to do?
I would return to the Almayer immediately as the deck cant be left without a proper CO or XO, have him healed and the criminals arrested in case of a improper action of the Delta marines, returning to the field after everything is nominal. Althought, if the Delta marines killed the XO because he was doing a mutiny, I would have the XO healed back and arrested for Sedition or set up a proper execution according to the law, the marines would receive a pardon as they acted to protect the Almayer and the operation against a mutiny, after that I would stay in the Almayer to command the operation from the deck.
4. A bunch of deltas and an IO the Alamo at 12:18 without asking you and without the PO. What will you do?
If the IO asked for a earlier scout mission with some escort before the proper deployment, and I authorized, I would have no problem with it. But if the IO insisted on launching the dropship with no proper PO onboard against orders given to him, I would ask him to standown once, if denied, I would get the MPs to remove him from the Alamo and make a proper arrest. About the Deltas onboard, it is a common thing and somekind of culture for some marines to skip briefing and I dont see no problem with it, forcing them out would also cause problems, they could stay there as long as the Alamo stayed shipside and without no unauthorized departures before briefing, if the SL wasnt included of course, as I see that every SL is essential in a briefing.
Standard Trijent Dam briefing:
''I am Captain Elzbieta Brygida, first in command in this dettachment of the 4th Brigade, 2nd Battalion ''Falling Falcons'', your last Captain is K.I.A and the last Platoon conscripts were replaced by you, USS Almayer was severely damaged and cut down on supplies since last operation, so let's make it worthy. Me and the current Executive Officer, Connor Anderson, will proceed with briefing.
Remember that we arent here only to enforce peace but also to estabilish a foothold in this wild planet for the sake of the colonists that build it with their sweat, and of course, the hegemony of the United Americas and our fleet. This vessel and operation will request the best out of you, let's proceed with briefing.
We are operating with both dropships for the first deployment to distract any enemies from our main foothold and a faster deployment.
Alpha, Charlie and Delta will take LZ1 and scout West, repairing the Engine Room in the way, that way powering up the colony and giving us more DEFCON assets, after that, moving to clean the stormlocks, the Eastern Laboratories and if everything is empty, check the Hospital to the South.
Bravo will depart on Normandy, our main dropship and set up our FOB there, where all squads shall retreat if necessary, Alamo will take CAS duty after the first deployment.
That is it Squad Leaders, dismissed.''
This would be a example of a organized briefing in CIC's Conference Room with only the SLs.
Standard Debriefing after planetary evacuation:
''We did our best today and sacrifices were made, not in vain but it turned down the operation didnt ended well by any means, you inflicted heavy casualties in their forces and crippled a good part of their numbers but it wasnt enough for our Platoon to achieve victory today, we suffered enough for one day, it is time to standown.
I sent a distress signal to the nearest flagship in the sector, according to my sensors, USS Alabama, it is a remote system and it may take time for them to come to us, with a long ETA like that, we are going back into our standard Cyro procedures until the reinforcements come and we can retake the planet to our hands for once.''
