Mini scopes were fine with no nerf

Of course they were fine. Spec taking them had to not take magharness and thats enough of a downside.
Despite all of that, code monkeys made sure for SADAR rockets to be wildly innacurate offscreen, so already using mini-scope on top of that was a big gamble.
At this MOBA point, there is no reason to even shoot rockets at T3's and Queen. All you can get is a short stun and barerly any damage (unless its WP, but Rav and Queen are immune, so ehhhh...).
Right now SADAR spec lost his glorious status and now he can compete with pyro in T1 and T2 killing and thats not because mini-scope was removed. Who would think that the day when SADAR falls would come?
Especially on SADAR it is neutral because of aforementioned reasons. On Grenadier its is annoyance. However I get the "offscreen stun bad" and I can't really complain much.
TBH I think it was perfectly justified to remove it from the SADAR because pretty much all it got used for was offscreening T1/2s. Offscreen stuns are bad but getting gibbed by something you didn't even have a chance to see is worse.
Bruh, nerfing the miniscope because someone got shot off screen and gibbed is stupid ngl. Its the only weapon that can actually do that and nerfing is plain stupid.

playerbase cries about stun combat until xenos get stuns removed. Playerbase is suprised when marine stuns start getting removed/nerfed.
By removing the scope I believe it allows for more strategic moves to be made other than sitting in a corridor and awaiting a xeno to show up.

Stun combat is what SS13 relies on. Xeno stuns are more horrible than marine stuns.
Removing scope only leads to people having to push to there death because they didn't see the xeno and couldn't shoot it in time.

SADAR Spec gibs increase by 120%.
But serious thought, marine stun tools on ground to ground combat are the shotguns and grenadier that can only stun T2s at best and SADAR which can stun a T3 but still, it is only one player without IFF and high dispersion, if you get close enough to a SADAR in open field view and he stun you, you are probably in a bad position. Anyway, the change is done and there is nothing to do, people will have to adapt, liking or not, just like the 200 other features that were removed.

The main difference between marine stuns and xeno stuns is that xeno stuns do not affect your team if you misuse them (unless of course your entire hive depends on a good queen screech to survive) Marine stuns are a hit or miss when compared to xeno stuns, because a bad nade a bad rocket or just a bad CAS can put you out of the game for a decent amount of time.
Were xeno stuns unfair? Some were (looking at you warrior grab)
Are marine stuns fair? Mayhaps, but the point is that getting offscreen bombed and then ganged up by a group of marines isnt the kind of thing that the other side would call 'fun'
