    Make prison unlocked again

    Seriously can we PLEASE go back to opening up prison to actually make it a fun map again, EVERY SINGLE PRISON ROUND is the exact same fight through research and chapel, theirs literally no strategy involved for either side and theris only a single flank route you can even take through north research. It really sucks for both sides as they know exactly where the enemy will be, it makes prison one of the most linear maps in the game which just sucks because it never used to be like that. Remove the goofy lockdowns that don't actually prevent "metarushes" and instead just funnel every marine push down the exact same path.

    Whats the point of the entire southern half of the map other than for xenos to delay in ???

    Prison has always been GO LEFT the map in the past it was rush crashed ship/civ res now it's rush chapel/medical but old prison did give ya some options from where to attack from but this version it's just railroading ya into the same path over and over and with marines unable to lift lockdown due to the bug they can't really do anything other then follow the track.

    Well, there's always the option of deploying on lz1 and having to fight ravagers in 2 tile hallways to even get to research. Especially fun if someone has a flamer.

    Even if they could lift the lockdown, 60% of the time one of the cards spawns BEHIND the chapel line, so you need to push it anyway.

    well yeah but you used to have more options in the ways you could push left, now theirs only one narrow route to go left. Crashed ship did used to be the meta but it wasn't every single damn round

    Alternatively, make the gap in the lock alternate between north, south and yard, a bit like fog on LV. Add some variety. Make scouting actually matter.

    Prison is bad but this is preferable to marines being constantly bwoinked for metarushing by epic trial mods

    Prison's only problem in the previous iteration is that NPC xenos would always hive in civ res instead of the multiple other locations available. Now they have pretty much no choice at all to hive anywhere OTHER than civ res, and the chapel chokepoint is gay and cancerous unless you have a half-decent captain who knows to order a cluster OB and fire it near the chapel to destroy all those stupid fucking heavy reinforced walls.
