Survivors and isolated marines will also run around and look like they are doing nothing, but they are actually taking lots of drugs to OD. This kills them and denies you a cap. I've seen it a bunch of times. Just because you have disarmed a human of all weapons and even their boot knife doesn't mean they cannot quickly kill themselves to spitefully deny a cap.

Marines can actively PB themselves, knife themselves, OD themselves or just run into allied fire, so what?

Are they just going to watch you capture them? Of course they are going to try to deny it.

It's just a bit too easy compared to the effort required to disarm a marine of their primary weapon, likely a secondary and a knife and to pin them down, assuming they don't have a mag harness and while you are likely being shot. There are tooamy tools to deny a cap. Grenades, medication and drugs to OD, heck - punching yourself. Considering all that there may as well be a "bite own tongue off" option somewhere so you can do this while nested to die before the egg gestates. I mean, that's physically possible and makes as much sense, right Lynuah? Are you advocating that?

If not, then do you accept it is quite difficult to actually capture marine and incredibly easy for the marine to kill themselves?

A fairer change would be to make it harder to revive characters that killed themselves. If you allow self damage you no longer have a "will to live" and without this the character is somehow harder to revive.

Anyhow, yes, as Lynuah has said - expect possible caps to also just kill themselves through any means at their disposal, not all of which will be obvious.
