People of the CM-SS13 community, how long did it take you to understand the game?

CM was still in a baby stage when I had reached my two year ss13 veteranship

maybe about a week or so of pretending to not know what a xenomorph was

I was around when Infestation station was a thing (2013-ish), as well as various other aliens servers before CM.
Still took me about a month to understand the game when alpha (sulaco) came out in 2015.
When I got back into it in 2017, it took me a while again. Understanding is a pretty relative term, though. Depends on how much you play.
Research is still byzantine to me, though.
