Exclamation I swear the god the VP is a GREAT gun.

Hello i am Guidesu and like , the VP is a REALLY great gun
You want to see my point's?

The status of the VP are:
    Recoil Wielded: 1
    Recoil Unwielded: 2
    Scatter Wielded: 5
    Scatter Unwielded: 5
    Burst Scatter Multiplier: 5
    Burst Amount: 2
    Firerate: 85 RPM
    Burst Firerate: 109 RPM
    Accuracy Multiplier Wielded: 1
    Accuracy Multiplier Unwielded: 1
    Base Accuracy: 5

And the Weapon Damage is 41
With no attachs and with burst fire on you do 81 if you hit all the bullets
With BC you deals 52.48 and you deals with burst fire 104.96 of damage
And you still have AP status

If you put BFA with BC
    Its 52.48 x 4= 209.92
With ONE shoot you kill a runner if you manage to hit all the bullets

    And in the field
You can drain xenos life in a few shoots.
I managed to kill a rav with 4 shoots
if you hits all the 4 bullets four times you got 839.68 of damage.

I am just giving your numbers.

    That all soldier!
    VP is a good gun

    :)

VP-78 is good, the issue it has is ammo consumption. Right now there's no reason to take a VP because after a couple minutes of combat you're completely dry on ammo and then you're just permanently out of ammo, because it never gets ordered.

If the ammo economy was bearable, it'd see more use. As-is it's just not worth it.

I think you're neglecting to mention that with a BFA BC, one burst from a VP takes about three seconds to fire

also VP BFA burst has 3 bullets

and you need 16 to kill a full health stationary lemon rav and the VP has 14 per mag
Karl Karlsson, the man (and sometimes Captain)
    Maxwell, the synth
    Enhath'vot Guan-Dha, the predator
Also a feature Coder & CM's Maintainer Team Manager

And there's also the problem of getting a gun with a BFA and a BC to hit every shot.
Both of those attachments decrease accuracy. It's still a decent backup weapon, but if you're at that point you're practically dead.

Also the ammo problem. Aside from the rare occasion that someone orders more, you'll run out pretty quickly.

The VP is a good weapon, but it's a -sidearm-.

Carry a rifle. Or shotgun. VP is not going to be your primary weapon.

As asidearm, or pistol, it's what you're going to use when:

    • your primary weapons fails to finish the job and you cant reload so you just switch to a sidearm,
    • your rifle gets lost,
    • your rifle is empty and you need to shoot something,
    • until you get to a rifle,
    • you dont need a rifle cause you're playing a support role

So again, while it has good stats and does well, it's not going to be your primary weapon.

Just pick a M4A3, or Mod88. You can easly dual-wield them, nearly infinite ammount of ammo for both, if you lose one, you can easly replace them.
Really, two-handed Mod88 is easly surpassing Pulse Rifle in everything but ammo capacity (short of 2 bullets), but for that you gain AP, firerate etc.
