    Add all the objectives you want all the good players will ignore them and continue to TDM.

    Like PLR_Hightower, or CTF_2Fort.

    Or all of Battlefield and CoD.

    Oh yea forgot to include people only TDM, hell people don't even care about defcon. How you going to get people to stop shooting at ayys for 5 seconds to take care of some far away objective? Hint by watching it get wrecked for the billionith time by a runner with nothing better to do.

    This is such a horribly bad idea even at surface level. Like this makes "give good players adminpoints for being good" seem like a good idea in comparison.

    its a cool idea on paper but a lot of what CM isn't compatible with the idea

    Another step in the wrong direction.

    Skill based gameplay is fine too (referring to some old thoughts I have). You just need to make the situation one of - easy to play hard to master. And do it beyond, "Haha macro'd" + borderline game mechanic abuse. Which means balancing.

    This reminds me far too much of early MOBA with gas collectors, it was not great then and I don't think it will ever be great for CM.

    Human vs. human sure. I could definitely see it being more feasible for that scenario. Probably not with benos thogh just because the game has been built from the ground up for the marines and xenos to slam into each other for an hour+ in essentially a giant ball of death.

    And please don't get rid of IO ;_;
