The BE is valid. You, albeit unintentionally and probably through a bug, fired a rocket on the Dropship killing someone and wounding others. That's a threat to the operation/others, and is a valid reason to be BE'd. Devs said they would look into why it happened.

Hunk did what he thought was in the best interest of the round at the time (He did the right thing imo), but cannot decide if a BE is valid or not.
