Every time i ply queen first orders are kill dat metal boi.

RP wise there isnt much of a reason unless the queen has knowledge of the machines skill or i just call it a heresy."shrugs"
But mechically i know the synth is a very skilled and can perform a multitude of duties and most often saving marine lives and building the fob mechaniclly speaking it is best to KOS

I recall I was a runner with a warrior and the warrior ripped off a synthetics legs and he gave the thing to me. So I turned the synth into my translator as I dragged it around. (I think it was Percival)

The more single synths unga trying to kill the queen solo with a machete the more I'm starting to just despise em. Some synths are cool dudes who take self preservation into account, trying to get the xenomorph queen and hive to spare em. Others think glory and trying to save dead marines is more important. If a synth wants to live as per guidelines, it makes sense not trying to piss the hive off
