If people use a name, they generally WANT to be recognized. Otherwise they can just go with XX or "random name every time". And taking away the means to build a reputation because some people may use it for meta purposes just seems like it's vastly overcompensating for a miniscule issue.

I'm not so sure that someone's first thought in using a static name is wanting to be recognized by an enemy faction but rather be recognized by their own faction and if someone wanted to be unrecognized by the enemy faction, they would make an alt however that makes them unrecognizable in their own faction too (mainly a marine issue)

I dont think thats a good idea to remoove the names...

...Personaly i would prefer the opposite: Force permenent names.

Remoove the possibility to play XX and "random name every time"
= Remoove 90% of the Anonymous-greifers.

Dont play Anonymously: make a name for yourself.
