    Marine Name
Andreois 'Heart' Kery -- ICU for xeno

Character InformationName of the Yautja Character you wish to play
    U'Chubak Gu

Name and history of your Yautja’s clan:
    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing

    ****

Summary: The Gu are a clan of refugees who have survived the destruction of the their clan and have banded together to find a new planet to inhabit far from Yautja Prime. They praise Kor'Ma and his bastard son Loothen which they believe to inhabit the bodies of beasts that live in a crater in the planet's surface. The Gu also use the crater and the loothen as the right of passage for the unlbooded, but many don't return due to the loothen's incredible capability far surpassing that of a trained yautja or even a xenomorph. After a yautja sucessfully defeats a loothen in the crater and returns they are to ritualistically dip their dreadlocks in a pool of a permeable membrane in the middle of the village which slicks their dreadlocks back and gives them a hedgehog appearance. Finally, the clan specializes in the taming of local beasts that resemble t-rexes named tujoks which they use mostly to hunt the loothen in crater.

    Yautja Character Story

    ****

*MAJOR SPOILERS TO THE STORY IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO READ IT*

Summary: U'Chubak is the only child born to two elites who participated in the first expedition to the crater. The pressure of achieving the same hunting reputation as his parents overwhelms him as a child and he nearly succumbs to death. However, he is comforted by his father and takes to learning the bow and other traditional weapons of his clan anxious for the day of his blooding, but no longer fearing his faith. Eventually the day of his blooding arrives and he heads into the fog covered crater accompanied by a tujok and two other yautja (they are mostly irrelevant to the story unless someone joins my clan in which case their fate and background will be determined by them). In the fog U'Chubak meets the incredibly large loothen and panics struggling in it's first encounter with it. He enters a state of panic and over comes it reminding himself of the strength he posses as a yautja and as his father's son. In the middle of this panic the tujok accompanying him saves him, but inevitably dies to the loothen. Using his bow and sword U'Chubak is able to defeat the beast, but is struck by lightning in the process. The lighning leave scar in his arms and he wears them as trophies. U'Chubak heads back to his village only to find it in the middle of a battle against a group of humans and red skinned bad bloods which his father knows and are called Ka'Vuts. Then his father and mother die self destructing in the middle of the village forcing U'Chubak to teleport away. U'Chubak returns a day later to finish the blooding ritual and dip his head in the pool of goo in the middle of the village and with a still burning ember he marks the sign of a blooded on his forehead. U'Chubak vows to hunt those responsible in his parents killings and takes special pleasure in hunting humans , dishonorable predators, and beasts similar to the loothens in his home planet.

    Hey hey

I like the tujoks being favored preys and all that backstory!

...But the only thing I really don't like about your stories is the "muh parents were killed and i seek revenge".

It's very...not original, but im personally shit at making stories so I won't hold it against you.

Before I give you my vote, I would like to ask you some HC/Playstyle question if you don't mind

    1. You're walking around in prison station, south of FoB and a marine sees you. They approach you and yells "I wish to challenge your honor in a duel". The operation started not long ago, and you are the only predator on the hunting grounds. What do you do?

    2. You're fighting a marine west of hydro on LV, you manage to crit them and as you are about to deliver the killing blow, Scout specialist comes in and drags the body away to the Hydro mini-fob and closes the cades behind them. They are healing your prey, what do you do?

    3. You're running around xeno-lines, searching for a xenomorph to hunt when a lurker pounces on you from behind and slashes you a couple times. It then runs away, you get up and start chasing it. After a small chase, it goes invisible once more and pounces on you, get stunned and yells "DUDE THATS SO STUPID WTF". What do you do?

(Bonus points if you put effort in your answer)
    SA-M4, The suicidal xeno.
    Rozu 'Nasu' Ishina, Mous enjoyer.
Clan Leader Va'Stba Ek-Thok, The blue cape cringe.
    Sakura, The anime synth.

"muh parents were killed and i seek revenge".
IM BATMAN! ---- I see your point of view and wholeheartedly agree that my ending is generic (gotta cancel that cinematic predator universe I scripted and emailed to Marvel). If it's allowed I would like to make some revisions after the application process is done, they won't affect the character too much. Moving on to the questions...

    ******

    1. You're walking around in prison station, south of FoB and a marine sees you. They approach you and yells "I wish to challenge your honor in a duel". The operation started not long ago, and you are the only predator on the hunting grounds. What do you do?
-- Since the operation has just started I have no idea what this marine is capable of and if he would be worthy of a duel at all. On top of that, my character has a unique disgust for humans after what they did to him, so abiding by that I would probably respond by spitting at the floor next to me and saying something along the lines of "despicable trash, you have no honor to duel" after which I would cloak and disappear. However, I am the only hunter and would not deny someone some fun so I would follow up by stalking the marine and IF he shows exceptional prowess by killing an alien or two I would approach him again in a quiet part of the station (if he ever reaches one), toss a bladed weapon by his side, and say "your small bridle body holds much vigor, I accept your challenge small one." Following the honor code, I would draw the same bladed weapon or one of equal strength and fight him to the death. If I fail and die then my body and its items are forfeit to the victor, but if I win I will do one of three:

    1. take pleasure as the marine dies slowly and claim a part of him as a price after I'm sure he's dead (since humans made him suffer he feels it would be right to do the same)
    2. If the marine showed exceptional strength return him to the others so that he may be revived
    3. If the marine went above and beyond showing incredible fighting skills, honor, and no hate and presuming he hasn't fallen I would adopt him as a thrall mostly to learn what these "hoomans" are all about

    2. You're fighting a marine west of hydro on LV, you manage to crit them and as you are about to deliver the killing blow, Scout specialist comes in and drags the body away to the Hydro mini-fob and closes the cades behind them. They are healing your prey, what do you do?
-- I would get aboard the predator ship and unleash its orbital cannon on the FOB then proceed to torch the hive. -I'm kidding- The hydro in this case is a "key location" and I'm not allowed to hunt anyone defending and I'm also advised to not enter heavily guarded areas such as these. However, there are no restrictions on entering just as long as you do not engage in combat, so, as daring and dashing as I am, I would enter and retrieve my pray under ONE condition: the hydro base is barely caded and there are no guards except the medic and specialists. If I do enter I would retrieve my target and not engage in combat. However, I would rarely ever do that since the hydro has high traffic and my entry would most likely disrupt the flow of battle. Instead, I would most likely wait outside the cades and toss harmless things at the marines teasing them, insulting them, and making them anxious and if I manage to coax the spec out of the cades I would hunt him down as a dishonorably pray. However, if the spec does not come out I will leave him alone and instead wait for my original pray to recover fully and be cleared from the cades before choosing to hunt him down. Once I kill him I will make sure to take him to a secluded area where I will strip him of his skin and hang his bare corpse by hydro.

-- Spit on em. I would wait for the lurker to recover and continue to chase him. While I am allowed to hit a lurker when they are stunned by pounce there's no fun in hitting a helpless loser on the ground. In addition, the xenos (especially the T3s) have similarities to the wildlife of U'Chubak's home planet so he likes the fights to be especially challenging or at least fun. While letting him get back up would present an issue, since the lurker will continue to be invisible and most likely run back to the hive, it can still give me a long-term pray to hunt. There is also the chance that the lurker will just stay in the area and continue pouncing on me and, despite my divine patience, if he does this persistently for a long time and I am unable to kill him under normal circumstances I will simply run all my 58 inches of combi stick through the lurker the moment he gets stunned again and say "dude that is so stupid what the fuck" before skinning him.

Hope my answers met expectations and I have a question for you: can I use marine bones and their helmets as acoustic items?

Since its start of operation, and there is no other predator, its safe to assume the marine just meta'd the honor code for X reasons. You COULD dispatch them but do try to keep faith. Predators aren't here to powergame and be shitters only give flavor to the rounds. Some marines never get to interact with predators and might be in a rush to get your attention.

"If I fail and die then my body and its items are forfeit to the victor"

When a predator dies in an honor duel, the human is to be awarded one item yes BUT giving them an entire yautja loadout is excessive. Since you are alone I'd say try to place what you wont need for the duel (AKA 90% of your gear) on the ship and re-teleport to the arena. A bit of an hard spot but at this point in the round, after stalking for a while, theres gonna be more predators around 100% so you can just ask someone to oversee the fight.

"I would draw the same bladed weapon or one of equal strength and fight him to the death"

Predators stats are just WAY better than marines so if you ever honor duel someone you'll have to step even further down to really make it fair. As in, them using a glaive against you using your dagger as a quick example.

Otherwise, following the marine around is a good idea. The answer to 1. isn't bad you just lacked proper knowledge of how breadator works and thats NORMAL considering you haven't played it. So far so good.

    2. I really don't like your idea of "being dashing and going inside hydro", even if you said "rarely". Even if they aren't alot of marines at the moment, you never know when 5000 deltards are gonna come rushing into hydro, they can scream in comms. I did also specified "closed the cades behind them". It's way better to just stay outside and keep an eye out. It's a key part of the map and should mostly be left alone, apart from RP interactions and all.

Also, I didn't specify what type of battle it was (Hunt or Honor Duel) so thats my bad, but since you said the scout was dishonorable im taking it as you assumed the fight was an honor duel which is correct. If a party interrupts your honor duel, even near the end, they are marked dishonorable.

Once your old opponent is healed, try to interact with them to see how they are gonna react to the spec saving them. It wasn't their fault if they got saved out of the honor duel seeing as how they were in crit, and spec wordlessly dragged them out. Don't just hunt them down and strip their skin for something out of their hands.

Not a huge fan of the going inside answer, you just need to relax a tiny bit on the aggresiveness. Otherwise staying outside as you said is the good approach.

    3. Answered well to the stun-worthy pounce. A bit LRP of the xeno to way "WTF", even if they are mad but you acting in good faith is a nice touch. Being killed for a xeno is harsher than marine since they can't be revived and going back to t2 can be tedious.

All in all, I'd say you might need a tiny little bit more HC knowledge, but it seems to be the more minor part of the code. So long as you know the big part, and keep reading it until more questions are asked from other people, im sure you'll be fine.

You also seem to act in good faith, and that's very important. Mistakes can happen and so long as you always try to play for everyone instead of yourself, Im sure it'll be fine.

Im gonna go with a +1 for now, and gonna check your answers to another pair of question that someone else is bound to ask you. I might change my vote depending on your next answers.

Oh yeah also, no you cannot use marines to play acoustic but be like me and collect marine helmets and show them off to the other marines. It tends to make them wanna attack you more. Remember you can take one trophy from a marine and you can wear an helmet. Get all the colors to assume dominance over the soft meats. Collectable rainbow edition

I appreciate the critical feedback and I'll need to pick up the slack for the next pair of questions. You covered a few more details that didn't cross my mind reason being that you have predator experience and I have rarely been able to ghost a predator or even engage with them before being distracted or having them die. Also, I was deliberating whether or not I should include the part about going into hydro since I believed there was a gray area you could cross under specific conditions at your own risk, but after your response and reviewing the scenario more in-depth I see that the decision is bad one no matter what. I'll take this to heart and be thorough next time and hopefully, I can make that ~+1 into a ++1, or I can just screw it up and make it a -2.

    Application - Accepted

How the hell did you manage to read NekoSam's horrible disproportionate multicoloured text without passing out. See you in the hunt.

    Perms'll come in a bit.
