I never thought the day would come where I'd be posting my idiotic words in the cryo dump, but seems it has..

I almost made it 5 years playing on this server and my god was it great...
I got to meet amazing people, moderated the server for a year, help make the Trainer Program with Dorkelli, became an amazing SL main after looking up to the SLs of old, and made so many amazing friends throughout these years....

Before I go into why I must depart so suddenly, I'll be ranting and explaining about CM and the people who are apart of it.

Rants/Community

Staff Team - Show support for them please, sure they don't make the brightest decisions and even I question things they do but, they put hours upon hours of their freetime keeping this community alive, barely but still breathing. I know you all have your doubts and suspicions but as someone who was on the team for a year and never had an issue with the playerbase, they're doing what they can to help.

Development - I can't go into too much detail since most of my opinions are from information when I was staff and I'll carry that shit to the grave as I fucking hate leaking. I honestly see too much bias in a lot of development and the amount of shit that goes on is just horrible for a hobby I'd like to do in my freetime. Not all the Developers are bad and most aren't even bad people, just make (in my opinion) biased choices in which direction the server goes towards. With OS it's nice to see things take a turn and the amount of QoL I got to experience in my 5 years here has never been better. Have faith in OS my friends

Friend List - Time to name as many names as I can remember, and those who's names I've forgotten or don't know how to spell, apologies on not including you but remember, I never forget a marine who has survived as a brilliant OW or shipside crew, or under me as I lead a squad into the fiery pits of hell. (Yer name will either bit written down as yer Ckey, Byond ID, or IC name) ((P.S. If you open the spoiler expect yer PC to crash, I posted a lot of fucking names and some descriptions get lengthy))

Diedsniper - One hell of a shot with their revolver and never showed fear when I lead those charges into hell. Great lad to hang out with and a brilliant marines.

Ghostdex - Quite the marine in Alpha and I'm proud to have you in the squad. I thank you for all the QoL you've done and sorry I can't finish those sprites you requested.

Seth H. - Great marine in Alpha squad and held their machete high as we charged the enemy. Sorry I could never get you yer birthday present but someday I swear on it I'll get a squad of melee going once again.

Piellida - Different timezones but was fun to chat with and had great experiences with ya in CM.

Jackson Dee - Gonna miss you man, despite you being Delta you gave me a lot of advice in the past on how to become the SL I am today. Tis an honor to serve with you and I'll never forget what you did for me.

Pumkinsplice - I know you left quite awhile ago but my man, you were one of the first people I got to really hang out with and when you pushed me to become an SL main, I never had so much fun. Without you I probably would have left the discord server, never become an SL main, and never have had the great experiences I had in CM. I own you my god damn soul... o7

Plasmatik - We might not talk much anymore but you were one of the few I actually enjoyed in the past, thank you for being a friend.

Pollard - Glad to have served with you a few more times since yer return to CM my guy. Most certainly a great friend and I'm glad I met you.

Alberto Staffer - I had so much fun with ya in CM with those gimmicks and all the stupid shit we did in Alpha. I'll never forget that beautiful mercy kill on Prison Station! Gonna miss ya my fifth favorite Staffer.

Stephenne Czech - I may not have been in the run as long as you have but I had fun with ya. I hope we can murder a hive by our lonesome once again in the future, until than, cryo I must go daughter.

Argun Fellhammer - Glad to see ya in CM again and sorry I couldn't have joined ya. Lots of fun playing DRG, Stellaris, and HLL with ya and one of the few Bravo marines I still trust nowadays.

Samantha Riggs - I might have been an SL longer than ya, but it wasn't until I saw you charge carelessly into the hive with yer squad when I truly understood how to SL. I'll always have my respect towards you and I wish you the best.

Sargash - Taught me everything I know about moderating and I made sure the discord was clean after yer leave. Hopefully I'll be able to take that offer to attend MFF with ya once COVID and my reason for leave clears up.

JarektheRaptor - One of the few moderators who actually stuck around and logged in as many hours as I did. Sorry you lost Smod for such a stupid reason but I'm thankful for the help in moderating the server in our lonesomeness.

KingPhillip - An Xeno Queen that I respect and funny ass guy too. Glad to have played so many rounds again ya and served with ya on the staff team. I wish you safety as well during yer time in service to the military.

SgtMike - You might have came late to the party but I'm glad you attended. Glad to have trained you and see ya help out the server.

DoctorProbe69 - My Canadian man, I hereby resign my title as the Server's Doctor until my return. Fucking glad you joined the staff team as I had so much god damn fun with ya. Glad I could have trained you and happy to see you pick up the title as Lead Trainer as an Admin. We might have grown a bit distant since my retirement but I'll always consider you a close friend.

Crob (SimpleCites) - :croblove:

Franklin Ramis - I've never forgotten about being flamed in Bravo Prep when you thought I stole yer Magnetic Harness but back when I served as Bravo SL, you were one hell of a marine. The Bathroom holdout on the Almayer will always be one of my top holdouts.

Elena Gumpson - Gonna miss the jokes we had together.

Snakebitten - Met ya rather recently but that doesn't exclude you. A lot of fun chats in discord and I'll still help ya out with yer story stuff.

Elly Lizard - One of my favorite OWs to have while I lead my suicide charges. Fucking love the gimmick too.

Balto Crunk - The best damn CO out there. You influenced my CO and how I play the game entirely. I looked up to ya when you played frequently and it warms my heart to have played many great rounds with you before my sudden leave. Polly yer parrot must sleep for now.

Gavin Cross - Another great OW. Sad to see you disappear on me but know that yer my favorite out of all the overwatch guys I've had.

Lance Endsley - Great Alpha marine I got to lead, and fucking loyal to the end.

Yosh (I think?)- When you joined CM and played as Alpha under my command, it was one hell of an experience. You made me fucking laugh and gave me such a great time. When you screamed out "MOMMY I DON'T WANNA DIE" it made my day. Just goes to show how easy it is to RP on CM. Godspeed and have fun my guy.

Audrey Aulin - :fishking: Had fun with ya on Bay12 and on CM. Great person and amazing Dev.

Benson Bengus - Great guy and fun too chat with. Sadly doesn't played Alpha.

Dick Longshaft - Great ass guy and makes me laugh every round. Not too bad with a gun either and kills those damn xenos.

Gian C. - Not so much a friend since I barely know ya, but I have advice. You have potential as an OW but please listen to marines. I've seen too many poor decisions on yer part because you refuse to listen to the squad yer commanding. I.E. assigning a medic as aSL when PFCs are available, micromanaging SLs, and telling people to fuck off.

George Grills - Fellow robusto marine in Alpha squad and boy am I glad I got to lead with you behind my back protecting my dumbass.

Unknownity - Fun guy to chat with on discord and a great friend. One of the few synths I actually trust in being competent.

Fizz - Fucking glad you joined survivor gang, and never forget that round we killed 2 Queens, several T2's and T1's.

Everett Garrison - I've taught you everything I know about surv, carry on the legacy of survivor mains and fuck those hives up. I'll never forget our CORSAT round when we murdered the hive somehow.

David B. - God I've had so many great survivor runs with ya man, sad to see our role decay like it is now. Keep up the ass kicking and find a new partner in crime.

Unwaveringgrey - Hell of a friend so much fun outside of CM and in CM. Glad I met ya randomly and somehow fleshed out a friendship and played all sorts of games with ya.

Jaketeaking - Jake-tea-king, whoever thinks it's Jake-teaking, yer very very wrong. But in my end times it was fun to shitpost with ya. Sorry you don't get anymore paw/leg pictures :/.

Hunk1 - The man who convinced me to join staff and gave me the confidence to do shit on the team. I'll get yer present to ya soon but it'll take longer than I expected.

TheSoldier - Glad you returned when I joined the staff team. I probably woulda died within a month if it wasn't for you and I had a lot of fun playing in events ya did with/against me. I shall not forget Ol' Rusty!!

TheDexFiles - Sexy ass catboy and thank you for the great rounds you've allowed me and hosting a fun as fuck game of Alien RPG. I regret nothing and I shall continue with my belief in acceptable casualties as I nade fellow marines to kill a single UPP agent.

Kirsh - I'm giving you the badge now...carry on my legacy of machete marine and slay every last bug on those colonies....

SD-P (Xeno) - You got some high tier respect from me since yer my nemesis! I'm glad I got to fight many battles against you and boy were they good fights. I'll continue to rub it in when I managed to crit you when you were at full health as a Warrior with a knife. Only reason you survived was because the Queen screeched....

BOO (Xeno) - Fun fights with ya and I thank you for that kitchen fight on Solaris. Had a lot of fin as Survivor Chef fighting you with a rollingpin when you were Lurker xD.

Viperious - Since I'm leaving discord for some time to collect my thoughts and I know you read the forum I'll say my goodbyes. Stay fucking safe during these times and keep yer head high. Avoid drama and keep working at what yer doing.

If ya didn't open the Spoiler, I'll be leaving discord for an indefinite amount of time, meaning you will be unable to contact me there. If ya wanna stay in touch email me. I also stopped writing names halfway through because my fingers are beginning to hurt from the amount of shit I've been typing...

Alright so now with all that out of the way, basically family problems have grown too severe. I've been good keeping things in check for the past two years but recently drastic things have taken place meaning I can no longer divide my attention away and enjoy spending time with you all. I do not know when things will get better, or if they do at all. I will give a monthly update on it for those who worry or those who are curious.

I'm not burnt out if people think that. I doubt that's even possible! Thank you all for the support, critique, praise, love, and challenges y'all have given me. This may be a permanent goodbye but hopefully we see each other in the living realm in the near future...

Well, I am actually sad today. I still remember when you conducted my training way back when, or the late night mod shifts together. I will never forget the machete gang, or the robust Alpha times. Godspeed, hope you return soon.
