The one weapon nobody actually uses

This is a (half)-serious question, does anybody actually use (or have used) the throwing knives? I've played since command had to manually assign marines to squads and I've seen more bootknife and revolver kills then throwing knives kills. Hell I don't think I've even seen a throwing knife in ages.

To anybody who has used them, how actually are you supposed to kill xenos with it? I've heard that they're actually decent in HvH rounds, but everybody knows they never actually happen.

To everybody else, how could they be buffed? Should they be buffed, so that every weeaboo scout spec could take a belt of throwing knives and pretend to be a ninja, stalking throughout the black resinous hallways of the hive and NOT be completely humiliated? Or will that be too much for CM to handle?

People use it, but only those atleast half-robust and only against preds, because there they are worth atleast something.

As a synth I have made solid use of throwing knives with macros to scare off barricade harassers. Rapid fire throwing knives aren't quite as effective as a gun, but with a bit more damage they could be kinda viable.

I didn't think about that, but I could definately see carrying a few as a scout for that niche. Same to the synth as well, since they can't use regular weapons to begin with. I'm glad to see there's some sort of audience out there for the trash throwing knives but I want to hear the madmen who run it with normal marine and see their probably twisted mindset

I'm proud to have possibly caused this movement, but I don't know if the united states colonial marine corps can handle the power of these knives. I will need to try these knives out by throwing them into the backs of my fellow comrades and missing my throws into Prime Praetorian (CO-420-OL)
