    No no no no no.

    Just no.

    As it is, the trucks are fine. There is no need to ID lock them, there is no need to add fancy things to it. Its working as intended, a logistics/para-ambulance platform.

    Like all things in life there are always going to be retarded people using it to joy ride. So what? Even if they did, nobody is affected by it except Marines, who at the worse, lose an Engineer/SL or whoever has a drive skill to drive it instead of acting out their role.

    Immersion broken?

    Tought titty. It's CM 13, immersions always going to be second place.

    Bruh I know and they are the most based one who actually joyride with them instead of building or commanding.

    Solution? Let it have the keys inside. Remove keys who ever first finds it and only 1 person can operate it. A PFC should anyway not an engi. The only reason the gave it to engis as everybody kept driving it...and now only experienced based people are doing it...

    The question is WHY? Becuase it's fun to drive like a maniac. Simple as.

    We tried these 2 version and they did NOT work. Time to try something else. Also it should be a cabrio so I can see who is inside and it should have a storage reachable without getting in. Some tweaks and it could be awesome.

    As for what it does to xenos...ruins immersion. I played as the retarded driver as well as a xeno observing the same. You say these things but obviously you never saw a truck riding like a maniac at barrens for 20 mins straight left and right doing zero productive thing. No it does no damage. But even with a whisperer and gardener we could NOT block it in. I can block in a tank blindfolded but that that as it's too fast.

    Now we wasted 20 minutes on literally nothing. Fix it Devs please.

    If you as xeno get distracted by harmles truck for 15 minutes its your fault and not theirs.

    Personaly i'd like to see them fill logistical role as well. Maybe let the CTs deploy and drive them if the RO agrees. But i don't see any problem with how they are now either.

    Trucks are in an awful spot currently, rather than being used for the intended purpose of actually transporting marines, they're being used to instead destroy walls, padlocks and trap T3s on the frontlines with body blocks.

    This shows that they require some serious nerfs regarding the health and potentially the speed they have.

    I don't think the trucks frontlining really give marines any significant benefit (if anything maybe cause a problem blocking them), but it is kind of werid playing and a truck is doing wheelies in a circle around the boiler for 15 minutes and noone bothers trying to destroy it because its not worth the effort.

    Only time I've gotten annoyed at the use of trucks is if I'm trying to defib a person then outta no where comes SL Tokyo Drift to knock me outta the way so he can ride into the battle get hit once then overdrive away
