you really only need to either tackle or use the art of teamwork to combat hug now

    it's just that easy

Ya too bad yall are nerfing stuns next huh?

Anything that can stun now can just do the hugging themselves. Fuck team work xenos have 0 team work.

neuro doesn't need you to be next to somebody and more or less hard counters dual shotguns

my loadout is an oddity almost nobody else takes, but even then, it's not too unfeasible to think a drone or carrier sprinting out of the darkness would be able to one or two tap tackle me down before i pointblank them.

Boiler globs+Combat hugging or queen screech+combat hugging work great together, you can get like 4 hugs in at the same time currently.

We had a really fun round on prison recently, it was a proper capture hive with 5 carriers. We managed to spawn 107 xenos over the whole round, with a max total of 46.

Now, traps played a HUGE role in that as opposed to pure combat hugging. I don't think I'll see 5 carriers at the same time in one round after this though. F for Carrier, they carried.

I admit, I do worry about the Sentinel. It is one of my more favored castes and very easy to get into for noobies.

Once the new neuro spit change comes into play (if it ever does), I do wonder how sentinels will adjust to not having instant stun? Will they no longer make good hive guards? Will they have to resort to even greater hit and run tactics as they drench a single marine in half a dozen spits so they can actually mangle them? Will they no longer be capable of defending themselves in a one on one situation? And what about shotguns, the one thing that Sentinels counter?

I'm just hoping that, when this update comes to pass, they'll have tested it considerably to ensure it doesn't give us another undesirable T1... Runners already suck as is, and Defenders are weaker than sentinels. Really, the best T1 IS THE SENTINEL, so if we lose that as well, then it is gonna suck being a T1 in general.
