Alternative, helmet so I won't be metatargeted, flashlight in pocket.
OT: Belt: MD. Backpack: 14 claymores, backpack in hand, 14 more claymores, other backpack in hand: 14 more claymores. Webbing: 5 claymores. High vis jacket: 2 claymores. Explosive pouch: 3 claymores, other explosive pouch: 3 more claymores.
Plant all claymores. Watch as runners get saltly in Dchat. Admin message: Why are you on the front as an OT? Get warning. Learn from your mistakes.
Next round, same. Ditch high vis jacket, put on helmet and armor.
Ditch armor when landing, it's only needed to avoid MPs. Keep the rest so it will be harder for admins to spot you. Continue to plant claymores. Get capped by a drone. One of your claymore goes off FFing a marine. Get admin message for second warning and EORG ban for 'killing a marine on purpose' when it was not on purpose.
Get bored with claymores. Make 30 remote detonated C4s. Blow them up all the same time after xenos boarding, sending half of the ship to valhalla.
Return to play as normal engi like nothing happened.

short-midrange M39: Angled, reflex, stock, bayo - Unga Supreme
Want to be frontline unga? Want to gun down a filthy RAV who is ignoring you? This is for you. If you swap to single shot you can hit targets 90% of the time at about 5-6 tiles. If you are closer than 3 tiles swap to Burst and GUN EM DOWN. The Bayo and Stock let you clear walls and sacs in record time.
Mid-long range M41: No stock, bayo, QFA, Angled - The Dancer
Nothin' Fancy here but it works. No stock for the movement speed when wielded. You can hit almost all shots at screen edge but you still miss some due to spread. A good chaser weapon when the xenos inevitably outpace you and you can still land shots at screen edge or further.
The duel M39 Test build: Arm braces, Reflex, Laser, Silencer - The Mad Lad
This still needs refining so play around with maybe swapping out the laser for BFA for more DPS. This let's you put out about 2 shots per second per gun on single shot and hit all of em at 4-5 tiles. If you know you are going to go in DEEP, swap to burst on both and GO HARD. The silencers of the guns makes it seem like you aren't doing anything but when the xenos start to melt from point blank double bursts it's too late. Learn what tac reload is and bring at least 14 mags, you gonna need em all.
