ok, so it turns out I don't actually have it because I was laughing my ass off at the time, but to the girls who participated in the cuddle-puddle: you know who you are.

Yeah, this is a cool as fuck idea actually. Certain doctors have carried in plenty of rounds and it's sad that they've never been really commended for it. So something like this would be awesome for CMOs to pick up and give out to Medical. It's always been a department separate from the marine forces/crew (given that they're civilians), so it'd be interesting to see them act with some autonomy with regards to giving out awards and so on.

You shouldn't get a medal for doing your job properly.

But when most people don't do it properly, sure why not.

Sure they should. Positive reinforcement works, and being commended for doing your job properly tells you you're doing your job properly.

Of course this is far more important in real life than in a 2D spaceman game but, you know; you get the idea.
