Everyone's getting a ton of mileage from my gif.
In any case, don't worry about we all screw up in different ways. Yours is no worse than a bad OB, and you at least didn't set anyone on fire.
And hey, you can't say that you weren't accurate with CAS. Those were some precision hits right there.
Usually playing as Darwin 'D.J.' Jefferson, PFC (Private: Flare Carrier), or Smartgunner almost always out of ammo. Occasionally an RO who yearns for death, dealing with rampant jackassery of his coworkers.
Against my better judgement I decided to start making Youtube videos involving Colonial Marines. Channel

People will be mad at you for part of a round for stuff like this, but afterwards nobody is gonna give a shit. You're good my guy, just as long as you learn from this mistake nobody will hate you.
oof

Spicy.
Everyone messes up eventually. I had a fire mission I did the first round I tested it that tore open Ice Telecomms after evac and doomed all of Bravo to a quick death, so don't feel bad.

That is the single worst case of friendly fire I recall ever seeing.
That being said, you're essentially a pioneer of the new CAS system, these things are inevitable when learning a brand new system!
On the first CAS test round yesterday I accidentally changed cams on a flare and CASed planet side triage. We all make mistakes
Literally no one is going to give a shit in a week; a random baldie will do worst.
Just acknowledge the mistake, learn from it, and move on.
Everyone was a random baldie that woke up during a boarding by xenos and fended off a horde of xenos with just a revolver one point in their time on CM.
I felt the same way years ago back when I accidentally OBed a bunch of wounded marines on the front lines during a retreat. It was so bad that APOP himself felt the need to bring attention to it and make fun of me... Even brought out the bagpipes...
Almost made me not want to Captain ever again after that. But nowadays, I gotten over it, and still lead the marines on occasion when I'm in a leading mood.
Sometimes you gotta fuck up pretty hard to learn from your mistakes, and in the process grow from it (hopefully). I know I did!
