I think you just roll the carrier and shaman carrier into one. That way carrier has more options than just toss meme huggers that dont work, try to hug an already hosed marine, use traps that are strong vs. bald marines that need to be manned by xenos to even be worth. Right now the meta is just to tackle chain to hive or just devour and egg morpher them / egg them in hive. Its usually safer to hug with a morpher/egg so you dont risk the hive getting naded when trying to nest a marine.

    Carrier needs a nerf IMO.
    Shaman is extremely OP.
    Carrier traps are borderline OB.

What I wish they would do is give shaman a skin change so xenos stop bringing you hosts and yelling at you to hug them.

macros can literally delete traps because you can make a macro to point at a resin hole or shoot one, it's so fuckin gross dude

    Carrier is awful.

You rely on Queen specifically to be able to perform your role. If queen is in combat and you have no eggs left, you're quite literally unable to do anything.

You cannot instant hug anymore, even when prone, so even if you down someone, due to the wind up, it can be difficult to put a crab on them unless other xenomorphs keep them pinned.

Throw hugger is a dead ability. Resin traps can be easily pointed out via macro.

Regarding SHAMAN, they are strong but very situational, they are only really useful in massive snowballs of xenomorphs and are quite weak outside of that. Other xenos often dont realise you're a SHAMAN too.
