Biographical notes:
Reed was born in the heart of the 3WE and has excelled in her early education, typically graduating in the top 10 of her year. This seems to start to decline slightly around the age of 13, presumably due to worsening relations between her mother and father. Parents divorced when she was 15, Reed as well as all of her siblings save Kimi chose to move to the UA with their father.
Naturalized at the age of 17 due to her father's record in the Army, Reed continues her education in UA and enrolls on a scholarship to the University of [REDACTED], choosing to major in Psychology. Records indicate that this choice (of both where to enroll and what major to pick) creates a rift between her and her father and she continues her education effectively estranged from her family.
Graduated with honors at the age of 23, immediately recruited into UA counter-intelligence services as a field operative.
Charged with treason, murder and several other crimes at the age of 25 after the [REDACTED] Incident. While most files seem to be sealed, Reed seems to have directly opposed her superiors during a sting operation, was accused of feeding information to an UPP intelligence cell and the murder of three fellow CI operatives. Reed entered an unspecified plea deal that sees all charges against her dropped and herself receiving a USCM officer commission that sees her leave Earth.
After multiple, scattered assignments as an Ensign, Reed joins the MP Core at the age of 27. Her extreme compatibility with the post sees her promoted first to LT and then LCDR by the age of 31 as the Chief MP of the USS [REDACTED]. Her service record includes multiple cases of her directly questioning her superiors and several citations for improper sentencing. Overall analysis of her service in the MP Core indicates that Reed has issues particularly with execution of criminals and is considered lenient (to the point of making mistakes) in her sentencing.
Reed met Alysia Wilo, her presumed spouse, during her service as CMP on board the [REDACTED] and typically goes out of her way to be assigned near or at the same post. This has been the object of multiple investigations by the Provost Office on suspicion of Neglect of Duty, but no charges were ever presented.
Present on board of the USS Persephone during the Oliver Incident (see file [REDACTED]), Reed was suggested as the successor to the captain of the vessel due to her CI background. Due to her service record and more importantly the lack of qualified officers in the Third fleet, receives her Captain's commission shortly afterwards. Currently serving as Captain of the USS Persephone, coordinating Intelligence efforts between the Third and USCM-I, as well as assisting with investigations undertake by the MP Core.
Psychological Notes:
Her upbringing in the strict social structures of the 3WE has resulted in a deeply internalized respect for authority, social position and social order. Reed would need to be literally pushed against the wall to disobey orders from superiors.
Strong core set of moral values that includes a respect for all humanoid life and a general preference for negotiation over conflict. This also seems to affect her expectations of others - Reed has shown a particular distaste for high ranking officers abusing (in her eyes) their power, or making decisions that she considers too aggressive and has on more than one occasion gone the extra distance to find compromising evidence on such officers.
Highly empathetic - Reed seems to be particularity attuned to the feelings of others and seems to be able to connect with her environment better than most. This reinforces her tendency towards a light handed approach in dealing with both people serving under her and hostile forces.
Other Notes:
Reed should be watched closely both due to the sensitive data she handles during her current assignment, but also due to her tendency to shirk on regulations that she considers unfair or unnecessary. Her MP background allows her to skirt regulations just on the verge of actually getting into trouble and she has, numerous times, stated that the Third Fleet and the USMC as a whole is in need of major reforms.
Due to the nature of her work, Reed is exposed to multiple CLF, UPP or even WY influences that may, in time, corrode her loyalty, especially in face of a decision that she considers unjust.
Strongly suspected of running wiretaps on other officers of the Third, even if her duty does not directly require it. No concrete evidence found.
