"You are a joke, you and your height don�t deserve to be blessed by Paya." That's what they said about him, Lurk'tar never took into count these ignorant insults and always responded with "My size may be small but not so much compared to your suckling brain, one day your own pride and arrogant atitude will kill you."

Lurk'tar is a proud member of The H'chak clan, which was responsible for collecting the eggs needed for regular hunts and game reserve planets, due to his low height of 5'9 he suffered from verbal abuse, as the Yautja culture tends to disrespect and ridicule their members with shorter stature. He grew up and as he did, developed himself into a warrior. Completing his training after successfully killing a serpent it's head serving as his first true trophy, an excellent hunt.

Prologue

Lurk'tar woke up from his bed suddenly when through his vox caster several chirps indicated with a voice "We are approaching the hunting grounds, grab your gear and attend the meeting in the hologram room." Lurk'tar stood up from his bed then proceeded to select several pieces of his gear, including some light armor and his bio-mask. He then moved to the dimly lit room, where orders were being discussed.
There were at least 15 warriors gathered in the place, the elder brought up a hologram showing a nearby mothership, seemingly severely damaged, the elder began to speak; �This Mothership sent a distress call 30 minutes ago, the report indicates a loss of control over a queen and her hive while transporting to a hunting ground; it appears the queen has captured the mother-ship with her hive. Your orders are to retrieve the control of the ship from the queen, destroy her hive and recapture her." The elder passed a watching eye over the warriors in front of him.

Slowly the other Yautja left the room until there were only two warriors and the elder.
"You two" the elder began indicating with his hand to Lurk'tar and his companion Lar'ja,
"You will recover the eggs on the mother-ship while the other hunters clean the ship of serpents, now go." indicated the elder, they nodded and moved silently heading to the drop pods.

He then moved alone to his pod, a sleek, elongated black capsule with yautja writing and symbols covering the drop-pod doors, He stepped into it, waiting for the deployment signal. 10 minutes later his caster made a sound �Operation starting, make yourself proud and finish them without mercy� the elder's voice indicated through the caster.
Suddenly the drop-pod began to act as a fluid fan indicating its activation and subsequent disconnection from the mothership, the seconds passed as three fins were unfolded from the drop-pod rear successfully hooking on one of the emergency exits from the destroyed mothership.

The Search

The rear of the drop-pod slowly opened, letting in an indescribable smell, he did not flinch, activating his thermal gaze, he examined the area ahead noticing resin and darkness on the place, there was a serpent dead on the ground, he approached and examined.
�Nothing important on it� Lurk�tar said to himself, deciding to continue walking down the hall.

While checking the surroundings he saw a serpent shitfting in the dark, quickly he pulled the scimitars off his wrist furiously attacking the serpent, seeing his attack and jumping back, barely dodging the attack. Striking again Lurk�tar managed to catch the tip of the serpents tail, Unflinching it rushed towards Lurk'tar who took advantage of the serpents fervant rush, dodging and attacking the serpent by cutting its torso and burying his other blade in the head causing it to crumble limp and lifeless.

After taking the head as a trophy, he tended a to a small burn from its blood and continued further. While walking down the hallway he noticed a yautja disposing of one of the serpents dropping its corpse. Approaching and indicating with a friendly voice Lurk'tar asked "Lar'ja, have you found any hint of the location of the hive?" Shaking his head Lar'ja replied. "It seems their hive is deeper� indicating towards the bowels of the ship. Lurk'tar began to move saying "I'll let you know if I find something." Lar'ja nodded as he disappeared into the darkness.

As the minutes passed and he was going deeper in the mothership Lurk'tar thought to himself "It should not be far away now". A Sudden chirp signaled through his caster "We have found the queen and the rest of the hive, it is located in the trophy room," came the voice of Lar'ja. "On my way " he said before starting off to the area.

As he headed towards the trophy area, where there were yautja fighting against several serpent castes, one of which took him by surprise, pouncing on top of him, it's claws brushing the leg of lurk'tar, quickly regaining his composure he sliced cutting through the acidic gore of the Lower torso tracing a line towards the head its entrails falling to the ground along with the lifeless husk. keeping his weapons ready he continued to go to the queen's chamber.

As Lurk'tar approached The queen was fighting against yautja both sides fighting ferociously, While the Yautja struck at the queens extremitys, she defended herself by expelling acid deposits through her mouth, burning away parts of his armor, a bright red serpent lumbered towards Lurk�tar, putting him on guard and preparing to strike his scimitars, the beast charged towards him suddenly attempting to slash Lurk�tar hands with a Swordlike arm, Lurk'tar dodged to the side slicing and cutting one of the heels from the beast, with a loud shriek it prepared to launch itself again. Charing once more this time connecting with Lurk'tar, Sending bioluminescent blood splashing from his left shoulder, Lurk'tar charged with both scimitars tearing at the beasts right thigh before burying onedeep into what would be considered its hip. Continuing his destructive combo using his wrist scimitars to pull the hulking body down to his level until its roaring mouth was face to face with the steel of his biomask. As its large maw opened revealing the innerjaw Lurk'tar drove one last mighty strike into the beast skull before roaring and throwing it to the side.

The Capture

One hunter threw several traps towards the queen, slowing her and inhibiting her movement, as the rest of the group entering the chamber. Lurk'tar & Lar�ja moved quickly taking several eggs from the distracted matriarchs, both turning to leave and going to the entrance of the chamber, As the rest were capturing the queen and finally seeming to bring her down she let out guttural scream leaving even the most experianced of the hunters shocked and floundering, she began attacking anew furiously catching a stunned yautja and tearing his armor and flesh apart, Breaking free of the fear the yautja began to attack back working to quickly shackle or kill her.

As Lurk'tar and Lar'ja began to fade to return to their ship they watched the rest of the hunters until their view was replaced with that of the teleport room on board the ship. Taking the eggs to the secure storage on board they awaited the final verdict on the rest of the hunt with patience.
