I was tackled by a runner across LZ-624 and couldn't do anything

What do you do to counter this? I usually have a machete for when I get devoured but it seemed I couldn't do anything in this instance. Even with really good armor, perfect health, and being very robust I was stunlocked for several minutes with no recourse. Is this the gameplay (or lack thereof) I should come to expect while playing on CM from here on out?

if you dont know how to bust out of a runner or prevent getting solo capped you're not very robust. Dont get me wrong TKO is very good at what he does and I'm a surv main but as a surv I killed like 3 runners yesterday with a nail gun. Everyone here is telling you to LRB /PB it which is epic and works but its not as consistent as just pummeling them with ammo. A stock m41a with stock ammo will annihilate a runner by just clicking it alot while its off weeds. Runners have to run somewhere to heal and if you can pressure them into running away sometimes they get stuck on objects because their movement is bad and then you can liquidate them.

i was not alone, i was with a full squad with a weapon mh'd up and was pounced, dragged out, and spam tackled until i was hugged and put in a nest on the opposite side of the map. The runner even rhetorically asked in looc "why runners could still do that" after i was capped.

It also says a lot about the state of the server when a supposed "head dev" replies with a hilarious copypasta meme answer instead of giving actual feedback. Gameplay centers around risk and recourse, and this involved neither.

It's because a runner has to land a few tackles, then drag/devour you, all with a health pool that is extremely low.

One PB will end it, a flamer will force it to flee or die very quickly and most other weapons will make it realise that committing is a bad idea.

If you got comrades with you, the Runner has an event smaller chance to do this successfully.

once again, a real issue is brought up (rooner tackle are broken as fuck and are totaly unbalanced and unfun) and the communauty, mostly the staff, ridiculising the situation.

rooner tackle need to be fixed, thats the truth; right now they are an actual game weakness, a literal ''i-win button'' and ''i-win button'' are a problem in CM.
it basicly make rooner unfun to play or to fight against.

ridiculising the player who brought up the problem dont make the problem go away...

it just make staff look bad.
