Feedback thread for XENO ENDURANCE GAUNTLET Event

Felt like a normal round aside from the hype.

I witnessed whole event from round start, to the end at the lifeboats. Rolled Alpha SG.
Key points:
- Full out warfare. Blood and guts everywhere. One wrong step, and 5 woyers will grab each of your limb and tear you apart. Loving it.
For the amount of fighting going on, it was very balanced.
- It got stale after 1 hour. The combat was dumb, only near few locations back and forth. Lack of coordination on both sides.
Surprisingly, not enough risky battle maneuvers. Pretty standard CM.
- Lack of Queen presence until the very end.
That what made this round so long, IMHO. Actually, made combat very fun, without constant queen charges.
- Didn't felt special. TBH This is how MOST OF CM should BE!! (Felt like WH40k Apocalypse mod)
Lots of everything in a closed space.

What made WO interesting, from marine side ofc, is constant retreating to fortified positions behind. We had none of that here. Hydro road, Nexus, and most of other locations, were not fortified.
You either start running, or you die.

Possible tips:
- More specialized squads, that Command can buy as ERT.
Say, infiltration squad, with sole purpose, to stealth into the Hive.
2 Engineering Synths as ERT
TANK ERT!? WHEN!?
- Add environment events. Water is rising, taking more of the beach.
Acid rain, Tornadoes, Alligators singing FOB. It can be fun. Forest fires? (Rimworld inspired)
- Maybe use the other LZ for quick ERT drop?
Same, for Xenos, Spawn lurkers and roonies behind enemy lines.
- Add an objective, any objective. Lore objective. Xeno objective. For RP opportunities.
Hey, let's add journalist ERT, that will film what is going on, on the TV,s near Dropships. To inspire morale, etc.
What about famous pop start, singing at FOB.

This is my 2cents. I think it's hard to make anything interesting with what we have, without a right community mentality, backing it up.
