Being able to toggle a button and use tons of plasma as a hivelord to leave a trail of sticky instead of spam clicking, snail trail. same with speed resin to make them both see more use
gardeners being able to melt flares and make pylons (healers can)

being able to put eggs into egg morphers to fill them up with huggers as a lategame alternative to keep them useful in some capacity
carriers being able to channel on an egg morpher to refill their supply
breaking apcs being a channeled action instead of many clicks (also a visible cut wire apc and not cut wire apc, if the cover is down. for marines and xeno visibility)
acid pylons in some form (even if they can't hurt marines) just to help with fire spam and issues at the front
leaders being able to have some sort of rally that gives a hud indicator of where to go for the entire hive (to have a stable front and draw bald xenos or those who don't know the map)
queen eye being able to place weeds like a creep tumor in star craft (aka a bit of range on non creep tiles)
an ingame way to check the map layout for newer xenos
Edit: prime and ancient xenos being able to pick xenonid sprites could be cute, but isn't QOL. thought i'd add it before i forgot
