Do you believe that the Snow on newice:tm: is bad game design?

I personally believe it's bad design, it's enough effort for marines to build a FOB then they have to get carpal tunnel with a shovel, and it's even worse on xeno side because without weeds they're doomed to fail. If the mechanic weren't y'know, spam clicking 100 times on 100+ tiles for xenos or with marines shoveling a tile, then another tile to drop it 100 times, would it be better?

Do you think snow should just be a default andy tile that anyone can weed/build on with no downsides?

Snow sucks for the xeno side. Permafrosts happens too which block you the ability to build or weed something on it if a wall gets destroyed.
