    Basic Questions & Story

What do you think is the job of a Commander?
Firstly, the job of the commander is to make sure that all the departments of the ship work smoothly, and solve problems that arise during the operation.

Secondly, Commander must first lead marines to victory using different and sometimes strange tactics of combat.
Finally, Commander is also required to ensure that all disputes are resolved peacefully, if possible, especially between marines and MPs.

Also, the commander's job is to make rounds much more interesting, not only because of the tactics of combat, but because of communication with ground forces and other departments. To establish their coordination and coordinated work. A commander is a person who plays chess where life is at stake.

Why do you want to be a Commanding Officer?
I played the role of the XO for a long time, and I was very interested in the command role. So I think it's time to take the next step in this direction.

I want to lead the Marines to victory as the captain of the ship, sometimes commanding from the ship, sometimes personally leading them into battle. It would also be interesting to solve problems on the ship by diving into RP.

I also want to improve the rounds by making interesting plans and communicating with other people. I want to lead the Marines' side to victory and provide them with high-quality command.

Provide a short story of your Commanding Officer.
    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing
    First operation of captain Milon.

    Experience

How familiar are you with command positions?
I know how to run a command center and run an operation. I also know how to work while in CIC alone. Also I played on SL and had a lot of experience how to lead marines.

Approximately how many hours do you have as Executive Officer (XO) at the time of writing this application?
    about 60 hours

How familiar are you with Department Head positions?
I am very familiar with the work of CE and CMO. I also played at the CMP and RO positions for a while.

How familiar are you with Marine Law and Standard Operating Procedure?
I have read it several times and in case I am playing a command role or a military police it is always open.

    Scenarios

When do you believe a Battlefield Execution should be used?
Only if it's the only way to solve the situation.
If there is a real threat to my life and there is no way to arrest this person, then battlefield execution is necessary.

Also, if someone interferes with the operation. For example, if there is no way to negotiate with a marine and he starts mutiny, then the only way out is to expose him to the highest punishment, so that the troops do not lose morale and do not disrupt the operation.

Under what circumstances do you believe it is legal to pardon a prisoner?
I can forgive an arrested person if he has committed a minor crime and he is the only employee in his department.
For example, the only RTO hacked vendor to take the batteries for SG.
Also, if the engineer will disassemble the chairs for the sake of metal, I will also pardon him.

However, I cannot pardon capital crimes.
For example, SADAR was arrested for assault and tried to escape. In this case, I cannot pardon him and it is advisable to explain to his squad that this is not in my competence. All I can do is send a fax to HC.

    Confirmations

Have you read the Code of Conduct?
    Yes

Have you read the application process page?
    Yes

Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines?
    Yes

Do you understand you cannot advertise or promote this application on any platform, including Discord?
    Yes

Do you also understand that you may not edit this application 1 hour after it has been posted?
    Yes

Hello. I will come back with some questions later as this app progresses, be sure to play some XO while your application is up! It's a great opportunity to show others what you can do.

Your story's dossier was decent but it felt like you could have fleshed out his qualifications, that part has good potential. The story itself read more like an AAR talking about troop counts, tactics and factual happenings, rather than a story. Don't be afraid to flesh things out if you want to, like tell us WHERE the 'planets' were, WHY was there a CLF insurrection, WHERE the ambush forces came from, etc. When you give more lore and detail to a story, it brings it to life.

Your question answers are decent but remember that a Captain's pardon can be used on not just minor crimes, but also major crimes if seen suitable. For something like an engineer disassembling chairs, you can simply approve that beforehand by informing MPs or shipside comms so that no arrest has to happen in the first place. I like your aspirations to become CO and I've seen you squad lead for a couple rounds, but I haven't personally seen you XO. 60 hours is a good time though. If you'd like you can also showcase your SL hours.

Just one question for now, pick a round where you felt that the CIC - while you were in it as CMD - played a critical role at some point in the round to sway things into a marine initiative and how? Make sure to give sufficient context for the round.

Good luck on your application and let's see where things go!

Hi! Thank you for feedback. Yea, I am going play more on XO role to show myself.
Also I remember that CO can change SOP so long as these alterations do not contradict Marine Law.
As for your question, I remember one round on LV-624. The Marines began to storm the western tunnels, while the hive was in the east. By coordinating the actions of the squad leaders and using a couple of announcements, they changed the attack vector and defeated the xenomorphs. This is from the last rounds when I as XO seriously influenced the outcome of the battle. However, there were many other rounds where I left one squad to hold the defense and sent the other two to the enemy's flank in order to disorient the enemy and force them to leave bearing heavy losses (I used flank tactics in this LV operation too). Also sometimes tactical retreat for OB trap usefull for killing at least weak xenos.

In fact, I have plans that I have already used in battles and those that I would like to try:
LV - set Alpha on west side, Charlie on central (hydro) and Delta on east side of colony near fog. Wait till fog down and push from all sides to containers. This will allow the Marines to shoot more freely as the front will be expanded which will increase combat power. At the same time xenos also need to expand front and use strong xenos more carefully.
One more LV plan - set two squads on east to distract enemy. In that moment set one squad with demo spec on west like an ambush squad and wait till fog down. When two main squads meet hostiles, send ambush squad to xenos back.
Science Annex - Send bravo on LZ1 to make FOB (if bravo squad small give half of alpha squad). Other squads will drop in Normandy, but two minutes after the first DS to disorient the enemy. After that send them to west check colony.
Solaris Ridge - set LZ1 and send alpha, charlie and delta through t comms caves to ETA lab. After that two ways: continue cave push to east or get out of the cave and strike enemy to back.
Well Kutjevo.. it's a bit of a corridor map so there's not much I can do. BUT At least I can send two squads to medbay and one squad to hydro with APC and try to flank hydro from medbay.
Trijent Dam - Set LZ1. Send two squads from LZ1 to Estern Lab through Hydro. At that time send one squad with transport APC to water treatment to fix it ASAP. After that send them to main forces to help on front. OR send all units to SE part of colony if Eastern Lab clear.
And ice.. well I think I can same tactics as on Science Annex as this map large and I can land troops unnoticed (at least try to do it)

I can't say that I've seen you in action personally but I do have some questions about how you would handle some situations.

    1. Marines are having a Ch-CH-CHAIR SMACKDOWN!!! in the Alamo and refuse to attend brief. You can see some people are severely wounded, and there are no MPs.

2.Round starts Req has nobody manning it and you have no XO or SOs how would you handle this?

    3. One of the two VC gets arrested pre-drop for breaking into the CLs office and stealing some items. Now the APC is down a man. What do you do?

    4. Not a single marine has built FOB, and you have no MTs or CE, how do you handle this?

    5. Engineering wont listen on radio and hasnt loaded the OB, and instead started a cult in the old IO room. Now what?

    6. An SL spits insults at you, and tried to hit you with a chair.

I look forward to your answers

    1. Tell my staff officers to play the role of military police and subdue the Marines by NJP instigators for insubordination and, if possible, identify those who practically killed the Marines and arrest them for assault. OR I can tell the Marines that those who refuse chairing will receive a surcharge for subordination.
    2. I can ask someone from the engineering department to take over the req by giving them access. Or
to say that I will promote a private to a sergeant after the operation if he takes up req. As a last resort, postpone the briefing for five minutes and personally deal with the req department before the operation begins.
    3. Since he committed Trespassing and theft, NJP will no longer work. The only way is to talk to the VC. If he did it just because he wanted to, then he will sit for the entire term that he should have. If he gives a good reason and promises that he won't do it again, I can pardon him.
    4. If the Marines did not look at the FOB and ran ahead, then I will inform them that soon the enemy can destroy the com tower easily, they will lose contact and act uncoordinated, which will lead to complete failure and death of all soldiers. I can also explain to them that then they will not have access to ammunition replenishment (at least this fact will make specialists nervous and force them to build minimal fences (not wooden)).
    5. I will go to that room with a couple of military police and ask the engineers to do their work and say that during breaks they can do anything that does not violate Marine Law. If they do not obey the order, they will be arrested for NOD.
    6. There are two scenarios. First, the military police arrest him for DASO and assault, provided that he did not damage me with a chair. The second way is if he beats me to death soon, I will warn him that the next time he tries, he will be executed on the spot. If he doesn't stop, then I will fulfill the threat.

Your Answers are satisfactory, however I'm going to guess between your timezone, your story, and your answers, English is not you first language?
It is certainly passable, and not hard to read. But while I don't speak for the council, or the rest of the community, it might be more desirable to be a higher quality.

    Honestly, without having seen your in game performance your English is my only complaint and it isn't even a major one in my opinion from what I can see;

I also haven't seen you in action, or heard of you. Though, that is most likely because of the time zone difference. That said, I wish you luck with your app, and will keep an eye out for you in the field.
