Description of the incident: Round had started, I was Delta SL, and had taken about 4 minutes to prep. After smalltalk and asking for any requests from my vendor, I hear chatter on the general Almayer communication and delta channel to come to briefing over some incident. I arrive at around 12:10 round time and see Delta RTO John 'Tortuga' (I forget his last name.) being forced to construct chairs he had dismantled by two MPs, one being Pablo "Pablito" Garcia, and the other was Brett McMatherson himself. It seemed normal at first, including the RTO asking me for help, and I simply watched, believing this was a lawful detaining and punishment for doing so without SOP changes as there was no CO. Brett, noticing me, and the RTO asking for help, began repeatedly asking what I believe to be a trap question, asking if I had ordered him to deconstruct those chairs. I tried to remain neutral, especially since it was so early in the round no one had orders to speak of. I tried to choose my words carefully and told him "My orders are that he can do what he wants," trying to remain neutral and out of the situation, intending to say that he could do what he wanted to, and be punished for wrongdoing by himself, though I never thought to clarify this. I learned shortly after by Pablo that I was marked for arrest, presumably by Brett taking that answer to mean I directly ordered the RTO to deconstruct chairs. He then took me into custody at the brig while Brett tried to question what exactly he was planning to do and took me to a side room alone. He told me his suspicions and disagreement with the arrest mark and set me free out of the main entrance, as Brett noticed me leave and protested. Important to note is that throughout this time onward, the delta squad channel was lighting up with incensed marines ready to protest as usual, though I did constantly try to calm the crowd from creating a larger-scale incident. The detainment made me late enough to the Alamo launch that I was not able to board (blocked by another MP, go figure) and was shoved out, so I pouted for a moment, calmed the delta squad again, and started small talk with Pablo and another MP. Brett then arrived at the scene, trying to arrest me again on the same charge. I was taken to brig and put into a cell by Brett personally this time, and let out about 10 seconds later by yet another MP disagreeing with the charge. This is where my perspective on the incident ends, as I managed to make it to an Alamo launch with the help of command, although I did land to a besieged and soon-to-fall FOB. One thing worthy of note is that when I finally reached groundside, I was made aware that the SG and SADAR spec of delta squad were arrested, and they told me they wanted to see me (Not sure what the spec did, but the SG did sit in the open area of the brig in silent protest at my first arrest). Last thing to note is according to the whispers of multiple people talking into channels I couldn't hear, (most likely the MP channel) multiple MPs and even the CMP of the round himself, Jean Corbeau, disagreed with the arrest(s) and situation that had been created.
Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc):
What resolution are you seeking? At worst, a heavy warning to the player of Brett McMatherson, as well as logs/clarification on other perspectives as I had almost no idea what was going on, if anything, aside from me trying to calm marines.
