However, most if not all servers nowadays require a minimum of internet explorer 11 to display windows like vendors, in-game computers, etc. correctly. The latest working version of IE you're able to get on linux with wine is IE8. It's simply not worth the work to set up everything because you will not be able to use any vendors or things like the RTO backpack or many machines in game because of the outdated IE version. Your best bet is trying out a windows virtual machine or having a windows install on dual boot.
