    reverse zeno/marine role gamemode

    WO but for xenos. I'm on phone so il be short with this, but if people like the idea il go further into detail later.
    Xeno hive busts out of containment on a weyland research facility, they make passage ways throughout it, take over monkey spawners, and build defenses. Weyland sends in recontainment synths, first unarmed to coax the aliens back to the hive, then with nonlethal weapons to "coax", then at the end a full 4 member synth deathsquad to exterminate the hive. There would be different things the synths can do to make it easier, but require time to activate or deactivate, so xenos would have to combo protecting the always stationary queen, and making sure the synths aren't allowed to get to key points around the map, giving xenos the same feeling as defending marines on WO, where the situation can snowball quickly.

    last thing the server needs is another WO-esque game mode especially if it's just reverse WO

    The problem is that most of the playerbase is marines. So you'd need to have a TON of synths that are kinda shittier than normal gamemode synths instead of having a ton of aliens for a small amount of synthetics.

    Also WO is kinda controversial, I doubt a WO that's reversed would be liked very much.

    i think a better idea is if instead of WO xenos spawned roundstart with a queen and built a hive core/hive and marines dropped btween 00:23-25 and then pushed the meta locations and fought the hive and either lost the round from then on or attrition/curb stomp hive

    Sounds mid, might get repetitive and boring also be a bit short

    Regards to OP, xenos rely on melee combat and their defensive abilities are strongly limited - they aren't designed around static defensive combat and can usually get forced back with enough effort compared to marines behind cades.

    I figured it would be more of a rush to kill synths as they approach different control points. The xenos would setup defenses to funnel them and make them easier to kill. It would have to have less focus on constant defenses, and instead focus on having the xenos build quick patches to block the synths or trap them to be killed.

    IDK seems kind of boring when you think about the fact that most rounds the xenos are on defense and after winning the defense they get to go on offense.
