5, they said they were going to just warn me but when i tried to argue my case, instead of saying “the conversation is over stop responding” they just decided to up it to a ban, they clearly showed to minimum punishment should be a warn yet they didnt do so

Description of the incident

to start i had been arrested for something that i had thought was stupid and not reasonable so i had began to plan to get out and down to op before it had ended

i had managed to break the door which already means that i would be going to perma cells which often lead to execution especially since there was a cmp and xo on site
i had then grabbed my gun for self defense saying how they should stay back and i intended to escape, they then had started approaching me and trying to stun me, which would put me on the chopping block including my death therefor i would defend my life

they had then began returning fire and the xo began to push hard with a gun so i had shot him

i believe this would fall into the "Exceptional Circumstances" catagory as my detain would lead to my death

What could have happened were the mps were to talk to me and ask what i wanted which i was hoping for

Besides my only options to fight back were my fists and the loaded gun in my hands against a group of 5 trying to take me to perma cells

Irrelevant. Rulebreaks are rulebreaks no matter if someone saw/ahelped them or not. "But nobody ahelped this" is neither a valid excuse nor does it excuse breaking server rules.

- If a player breaks a rule, but increases the enjoyment of the server in general, (through roleplay or other such things) it can be overlooked. If no one admin helps (ahelp) a complaint, or seems to be complaining or taking issue with it, it may be best to let it go.
i dont know about you but the MPs werent doing much, having a small engagement would be more enjoyable then staring at the prisoner for the next 20 minutes

so i ask again, was there any ahelps at the time regarding the situation

I checked the logs, the only thing was friendly fire logs were sent out which alert moderators and admins at the time of the incident

However I’ll just say the protocol is there and when I rewrote the actual rules, staff make the final judgement on all calls. When forest and I rewrote many things. The no ahelped can be used as a case by case basis, for example we ban people for end of round grief people don’t usually ahelp but we still issue the 3 hour bans by default.

I do understand what you are saying yes, but most of the times there is another rule that directly contradicts the whole “noone ahelped” situation, such ad the eorg message at the end of every round, i think that for the mostish part that most of the people in the situation came out with a bit more enjoyment, in so i request that the note be removed this 1 time as i dont think that it negatively impacted the server and i wont do something like this again since it clearly causes quite the trouble

Solidfury in this instance attempted to be lenient and you continued to try and twist the ruling given to your favour. Solidfury did nothing wrong in this instance.
