Description of the incident:

I spawned as a Xeno in the hive on a shivas round, evolving into a Defender in due course. I made my way to the near the front at the time near LZ1.

I started clearing snow to help with the weeding just behind the frontline. Whilst weeding a Hunter/Predator starts attacking me. After the first attack i said 'go away' and the attacks continued until i was killed and dragged away to be gibbed.

I had not interacted with this hunter at any point in the entire round, I was not marked, I also didn't defend myself at all. My read of the Predator Honour Code 2021 update seems to suggest I'm 'unhuntable'(?).

I like the hunters as a general game-play mechanic and have fought them before. I hope my read of the rules is correct and I apologies unreservedly if I am incorrect!

What resolution are you seeking?

Clarification on whether this is allowed under Predator Honor Code.

You were a defender. The bastion of the hive. You were not at the frontline, you were simply clearing snow some ways from it.

If you were a builder caste, it'd be a different story and even then, I wouldn't have attacked you. You were also not injured according to the health HUD so I was well within my right to engage you regardless if you were fighting back or not.

We're not gonna pull logs or wait for the council for something very obvious. Defender castes are free game because Defenders are not drones, carriers, or boilers. Based on the evidence you provided, there's clearly no breach. Just cause you say Go away or don't fight back, doesn't make you invalid/unhuntable prey. Predators are a side-antagonist, they are not required to RP with marines or xenos, and if you meet the requirements to become prey, they can attack you.
