Description of the incident:

I was killing marines in the backline, then I notified a nearby predator of the marines I had killed. Moving on, as I was going through engineering I stepped on a Hunter's Trap and started trying to remove it. The predator uncloaked and immediately started attacking me \ trying to kill me. I was unable to fight properly and thankfully managed to take the trap off. Moving on, I asked him why he did that when its not a fair fight and he said "I'm worthless". Carrying on, I was running somewhere as a lurker and the predator shot a huge explosive gun at me which nearly killed me then started meleeing me again, I quickly ran to the resin doors until fellow lurkers started helping me out \ saving me. After I died to a few marines later on he came up to my dead body and said "Good riddance, what an idiot."

Should be in the logs how he attacked me multiple times without me attacking him first.

As a premise, I would like to clarify that I did not request these logs to place the blame on other whitelist holders should this report (somehow) go through. I said what I said via communicator to confirm that other whitelist havers had my same thought process, which they seemingly did.
To the distressed player:
Yautja are arrogant and brutish characters who have the role of antagonizing others and spicing up a round. They are here to kill you for sport, not be your friend.
If you, a Xenomorph who does not even have the concept of "honor" let alone the honor code, walks up to me, a predator, first thing and says "where's your honor?" and complaining to me as if I were your friend, then you are doing it wrong.
While I understand you may be frustrated due to another predator trapping and hunting you, and I understand you often using more OOC-ish terms in hivemind as to properly communicate with other Xenomorphs, I believe you had more than enough time to re-evaluate how you should've reacted in-character to an alien your kind calls "headhunter" (within good reason). Personally I think you should've either ran or killed him instead of ICly lecturing me with veiled OOC terms.
Unless what I did was somehow wrong, then I would expect other predator whitelist holders to do just as I did in cases like these.

When I walked up to you I thought you were the trapper predator. It's important to point out here that I was never marked as being hunted. I do agree that I should've spoken to you in LOOC and that was a mistake on my part. However, in my opinion it does not excuse the way I was hunted nor the trapper predator. I was not aware that predators can literally lay hunter traps around where lurkers usually are then kill them when they step on them that just seems blatantly ridicolous.

Additionally, I wanna state that I couldn't have just "killed him icly" when I was affected by the Hunter's Trap it would've been very difficult to do so. Afterwards, sure.

Predators don't have to grant you the courtesy of marking you as hunted. You were hunted for being LRP. I am not repeating what I already said in my previous statement.
As for the reaction to it, I meant after you escaped.

The use of a hunting trap is not an issue, for it is allowed to be used on worthy prey. The only merit this report has is Castortroy's use of the lethal plasmacaster.

I find his use of the plasmacaster within reason:
He considered the Alien dishonorable because it started verbally insulting him by questioning his honor. Trying to discuss the nuances of honor is not something a Xenomorph would do, so the player was being LRP with a Predator.



Applies to your case. Xenomorphs only care about either killing or capturing hosts.
