Lmao literally almost everyone can get the Mod 88 now and it'll be a mess when they realise how effective it is. Insanely accurate even without attachments, has a burstfire that's just as accurate, large magazines, AP capability, high damage and a fast fire rate, not to forget the PD kit gives you s i x magazines total and that you can refill it from pistol AP.

My fear is they'll nerf the 88 and the roles that rely on it are going to have issues as a result. I've actually voiced complaints with it being so common (even if the kit's 45 points for PFCs) specifically because it's supposed to be a rare, effective gun, not something 1 out of 5 PFCs carries into combat.

Smartpistol decent since you can use it to safely dispatch that lone runner in the middle of a squad without friendly fire.

Smart Pistol with QF+LS+Supp is basically the perfect sidearm if we're talking about how sidearm should be used. It's not gonna do like some huge damage, but it does enough to make most runners/lurkers back off, and you can fire it safely through people so you threaten Lurkers and Runners even with 10+ dudes around (remember QF LS M4A3 AP meme ? Yeah this is that, slightly weaker, but safer. Much, much safer). No recoil with Supp, epic fire rate with QF, and no accuracy problem regardless of you one or two handing it(unless you're trying to hit max range aka edge of the screen and some sketchy diagonal shots) and you actually have a decent amount of SPistol mags in Req. The only bottleneck is the damn gun itself really.

Any particular why you prefer the suppressor over an extended barrel?

Supp slightly increaes both accuarcy, and slightly reduces recoil and bullet spread.

    EB only moderatly increases accuarcy.

If you are aiming to slightly improve all your gun stats than the supp is better. If you only care for accuracy then EB is better.

They also both slightly decrease damage by the same amount.

The Suppressor is needed to reduce the SPistol's recoil to 0 while wielded.

yeah, i was gonna ask "where are the smartpistol and the .45?" they are both kinda stronk and very useful as panic weapon, since they BOTH have more ammo than the regular 9mm pistol.
