My bad then must've miss read it, apologies.
Rahlzel wrote: Not sure about the "Usable by" column. Can't remember if I updated that as well.
Think this is the one ya didn't update, for example you might want to check what the smartgun can use on the wiki and in game as currently I'm fairly sure it can use the barrel charger and a burst fire adapter, however the burst fire adapter doesn't have the smartgun listed as useable, might be the same with the smg and the recoil comp which isn't listed but can apparently go onto the smg.

After I get the examination description for the incinerator and its fuel tanks would anybody mind if I updated its description in the wiki? As well as the orderable crate.

EDIT: I should have it done by tomorrow.

Feel free to pal, the wiki is there for any player to contribute to so that the information can stay up to date which will hopefully lead to a higher standard of information available to players.

There's a bit of a mistake on the attachment section of Marine Equipment, there's also an error on the chems in chemistry, namely Lexorin and silicate. For the attachments, it lists the quickfire as an attachable for the M37A2 pump shotgun, although this is false.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

What exactly is wrong with these two? Is it just the fact you can't actually create silicate? Lexorin I have no idea about as I rarely touch chems nowadays.

Dealt with.

It would be nice if there was something on the SADAR section that says it comes pre-loaded with HE rounds. I noticed that weapons such as the commander's pistol have "starts loaded with hollow-point rounds" so having something similar for the SADAR would make sense.

The Wiki is currently being overhauled, so post anything you think needs updating here.

-Post links to pages that need to be updated here.

-Post links to icons that need to be updated. (If you click on the icon it'll take you to it's own page, that's the link you should post.)

-If you want to help out there are some pages listed on the main page of this thread that need to be added to, alternately you can ask me over discord.

-If you need help with anything ask myself or Rahl.

Thanks for your cooperation to anyone who has already been helping so far.

Don't know whether this fits better in general medical tips or in medicine, but I think it should be mentioned that autoinjectors could be refilled by dragging them to their appropriate vendors.

Still a work in progress page, which I was writing some lore for, of which I still need to finish.

When it's finished, It'll be added onto the good ol'front page, feel free to help out.

Lore and timeline pages are in a desperate need of an overhaul, but I figure that it's a pretty tricky subject.
Timeline contains a lot of useless information and not much that would be important to marines. Very unnecessarily large to make it looks big, and it cannot be edited.

Updating the lore page would require a universally agreed on constant. I have a pretty hefty knowledge of the aliens lore, but I'm sort of afraid to touch it because I don't want to break anything.

I've deliberately left the lore page alone (Although I would've liked to work with someone to develop it) as in-theory that's something only Apop/Rahl and the devs should change as they are the ones developing and making the changes to fit with our custom lore so it's hard for myself and you to know what's being kept from the original standard lore and what's being axed.

Hopefully at some point there will be an update to it or a go ahead to edit it but until then just leave it alone and carry on updating the rest of the wiki pages.

In short, it's to be left alone.

I've updated the Whiskey Outpost wiki page considering we're having half a day of it, and I finally know how the game mode plays as.

wiki/Whiskey_Outpost

We should put this link on the front page somewhere.

A newbie guide should include common keys, commands and macros. How to shoot, reload the gun, how to check ammo. How to drag people and objects around (took me a while to learn ctrl+obj is drag and q is drop). How should interactions be used. Some of the common commands that marines would typically do during a game. After basic commands there should probably be a section for advanced or profession specific commands. I.e. how to put a marine into a cryo vat, how to do surgery, how to grenade properly, how to use sniper rifle, shotgun etc.

Note, sometimes you have to pixel hunt to use objects faster, it would be nice to include the tip that after you alt-click an area, you can then use status window to select and interact with objects - doors, items etc and it saves time and frustration (for newbies).

There should be an emergency procedures guide for all crew, what to do when there is a phoron leak, when there is hull breach and/or toxic gases. Where the nearest evacuation points are on the ship etc.

It would be also nice to have a better guide for MT/engineers on equipment such as generators, air scrubbers, air pumps etc, how and when to use them and their generic purpose.

Also a guide on how to hack doors. Even though icly, MTs know how to do it, oocly it may take a while to figure out how to do it properly, also I had to look for it in other SS13 guides, but it would be nice to have things like that on CM wiki.

There's a section already for macros on the wiki which can be found linked from the main page, in regards of everything else I'll try and work through it all over the course of the coming weeks. Channel keys are here: wiki/Space_Station_13_Guide#Communication but as I've said I'll work through it.

In regards of this, it's something which will be added at some point to this page. wiki/Space_Station_13_Guide albeit surgery is already accounted for in the Surgery link from the main page.

Not too sure on honestly what this page would be as it'd literally be the same for each case, head to the nearest safe area and await further orders, if no orders are given head to the escape pods and presume the worst.

StaticVariable wrote:It would be also nice to have a better guide for MT/engineers on equipment such as generators, air scrubbers, air pumps etc, how and when to use them and their generic purpose.
This is something being worked on currently but as there is a lack of wiki people updating pages it may be a while until I can get to those page as I'm trying to focus on new player stuff for now so we can get the ball rolling for them to have fun. tldr: I'll get to it at some point.

There is already a guide on hacking doors, it can be found here: wiki/Guide_to_Combat_Engineer#Hacking I'll add it later tonight to the Mt job section so they know how to do it as well.

The picture in the chemistry page should be updated to show the new chemistry room instead of the old one. Having the old one could be a little confusing for newbies.

I'll try to get a picture if I get the chance.
