I won't lie, I am upset about the -1, especially because I know your word among a few others is essentially the final say, and I guess this means I am going to be denied before long. Especially considering you mentioned next time tells to me you already decided. It's upsetting, three month delay? Man all the +1's from others had really got my hopes up, heh. Oh well, anyways I'm really thankful for the criticism and input, as well as taking the time to read through all my ramblings, I was hoping with further clarifications and work put in I would be able to convince I'm dedicated and change a neutral to a +1, with the revamp'd background and some answers to questions but to be honest, you really just want to judge the initial application correct? It's easy for people to just respond and sound good as opposed to doing it from scratch. Your criticism and advice on my character I'm really into so if per chance I have to redo this in forever I'll probably use that, again?

Anyways outside of my ramblings honestly, I still am slightly hoping I'll get accepted, maybe others opinions of me will help, maybe? I've been obsessive and paranoid over this whole thing so I guess that probably backfired on myself. I do still genuinely believe I can make an amazing Predator, but, hah, who doesn't think that? +1, you should be given a shot. You have good motivations from what I've seen which is important. As a predator player myself, I think your playstyle is not a problem. I believe you'd do your best to improve the round and make it more enjoyable for others. If you keep that motivation, you will be a fine addition no matter how much your playstyle or your predator changes (and it inevitably will improve as you gain experience).

I will quote what I like.

Personally, I believe the intent of the Predator is to create an interesting round, it is not about yourself, but about impacting the round itself in a positive manner. More of an event character, than anything else.

I would like to not simply "Strike and kill" so soon usually...I would definitely like to be doing RP more than fighting...no killing anyone immediately as that isn't fun

I already RP to myself when alone anyways, simply for my own enjoyment and making the character feel more real

Essentially I want what I'm doing to actually be seen by the Players playing the round, to create nice rp moments...People get too comfortable around Predators...taking a more active "Seen" stance.

Yeah, heh, reading those I really do have a habit of rambling on in walls of texts, my grammar tends to suffer though, anyways thanks for the feedback, and I hope I'm allowed a shot, if anything. I suppose my biggest goal is to create an interesting character and environment for others to traverse and experience, everything else I have mostly said already. When it comes to playstyle well, I tried to just decide on what I thought would be fun and what I would personally enjoy experiencing as a marine or xeno during a Pred round.

I don't really have too many problems with this application just small things like points in the background and play-style, my only recommendation would be to read up more on how Predators act, their culture and such.
I think if you end up getting denied this time, re-apply, just shine up the background and mainly the play-style a bit more and you should be fine.

Yeah I've been thinking about that a lot, reading up and doing even more research on Predators, working on what would need changing if i'm denied, and so on, I personally think I'm pretty well versed currently and I can give the role justice, but who wouldn't think thatz anyways I've decided to let this ride and see what happens, I've attempted already to specify and redo a few things. Feeling pretty confident though, thanks for the positive remarks!

I like Karla as a person and a character in the game, so I already have high hopes for them as a predator and hope they get it. Yadda yadda, plus one. Even if their application could use a little more oomf, I believe they would be able to play a predator to a high degree in a way that would be fun for other players. Even if their play style is a bit generic.

I do, however, have two questions for you:

I do believe that you must hunt the winning side, though from what I seen some predators would continue hunting aliens and or marines even if it was clear they were losing. I know this is a question where you sort of answer yes to, but I just want to bring up the concern that it's not fun to be on the losing side and also being continually harassed by the predator. Even more so when you get pred bombed.

Secondly, would you over eat and eat the entire metal plate as a predator? Please don't eat the metal plate.

Alright, thanks for the positive remarks by the way. Let me answer your questions.

As for the first one, I certainly do not intend to hunt the losing side unless they specifically are antagonizing me. Even though I hope to make more of a "Show" of force to scare them off and not really attempt to engage fully. I certainly plan on having fun fighting both sides, I bring up marines commonly simply due to them having more opportunity for RP scenarios. I fully intend on hunting the winning side as much as I can to preserve the fun of the round. Using well, common sense, if Xenos are surrounding and pushing the LZ, of course I'm going to be hunting Xenos. If marines are on the hunt for running Xenos, so on. It is mostly common sense and my number one priority would be to make the round interesting and fun for all parties involved, it isn't really about myself, and is more about the others. So simply attacking the losing side because I want too would go against everything I believe the goal of a Predator would be, which is to essentially be a fun "Event" role.

Also, towards your second question, which I understand is extremely important in many matters. I would definitely eat my prey and the metal plate. Exoskeleton, armor, everything, gotta eat it all. Can't let it go to waste, but I'm sure all the running around at light speed will burn off those calories.
