The Rise of the Dark Sun

Marine Name (so we know who you are; if you play alien mostly, state that here): I play mostly ( or at least try to ) as xeno, but when I play as marine, I have two names:

Daniel 'Flamer' Santos and Sam Lauffer, both heavily marine based, but I will play more with the first name from now on.

Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name): Dark Sun

Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor? I have read it from time to time and I think I have it memorized by now, never kill an injured xeno/human, don't steal another Predator, always try to find the most honorable prey and, if captured, die in an honorable dead (AKA activate gauntlet bomb ).

Character background (An ADEQUATE description and story of your predators background):

HIS LATEST HUNT

Dark Sun always was too proud of himself, always trying to catch the most dangerous prey on the Hunts, attacking viciously to tire his prey before giving the fatal blow, but, this time, hunting on the jungles of [redacted], he almost was killed by an ambush of marines, whose leader was challenged by Dark Sun previously, but, despite giving orders with a thunderous voice, was not even close to be called courageous, shouting for help as soon as he saw the predator. Dark Sun managed to escape, hiding inside a ruin, which he decides that will be the doom of those marines.
A long hour passes, Dark Sun grows impatiently, the ruin transformed into a huge trap to the marines that tried to kill him, he is already considering leaving the ruin, but a guttural roar and sounds of conflict stops him, a lone marine without a arm stumbles inside the ruin, followed by a runner, they activate one of Dark Sun traps, two stones release a huge tree trunk, which swings quickly, smashing both marine and runner, he gives a series of short roars, ( which can be translated as a laugh ), thinking that the entire of marines was decimated by a single runner but maybe, he should have considered shutting his mouth, as the entrance to the ruin is smashed by a giant xeno queen, the biggest that he ever saw, his muscles tenses, ready for the battle, he prepares his spear and wrist blade, tonight, he will bring a big trophy home, or die trying.
The battle starts, both the super queen and Dark Sun charging each other, her movements are faster than any other queen he ever saw before, evading his attacks as fast a wasp despite her giant size, and when they hit with her thick exoskeleton, it feels like he is hitting a wall of titanium, but her attacks aren’t so ineffective, hitting him with her tail with a force that was so strong, that he crashes through the floor, down to the lowers levels of the ruin, his cloaking devices destroyed on the fall, he manages to outsmart her, escaping to a hiding spot on the ground to rethink his strategy, she quickly follows, sending tremors through the entire place, making some stones to fall from the upper floor, one of then, peculiarly sharp, catches her off guard, piercing her thick exo and making a breach that Dark Sun could pierce with his spear, he just needs a distraction, so he could throw the spear with his last remaining energy, suddenly, another squad of marines, searching for the missing squad from before, appears, the queen turn to face then at the stone stairs, they freeze, not knowing what to do, the, this was just what he needs, he makes his way to a higher place, he aims, and he throws….. the spear pierces through the hole, making the queen roar in pain! Dark Sun then jumps, catching on the spear and, using it as a lever, manages to break the impenetrable exo of the queen, she catches him and throws him at the stairs where the marines stood, he activates his wrist blade, get to his feet, and charges towards the badly injured queen, who seens to have lost her speed, she manages to hit him in the shoulder, but with far less strength than the before, he stumbles a bit and, using her arm as a lever, hurls himself toward her chest, giving the fatal blow, making her fall dead, and Dark Sun gives the biggest roar he could, finishing the most dangerous hunt so far.
As the twin suns of [redacted] starts to rise on the sky, Dark Sun puts the giant queen head in the center of his ship to show of to the others members of his clan, and, as he is making the final adjustment to the ship autopilot, a distress signal from a human colony on [redacted] grab his attention, and he changes the autopilot destiny, well, looks like his Hunt isn’t over yet.



How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)? As I stated on the story above, I will give fast and killing attacks, create traps from time to time, and I will always challenge the most dangerous prey ( or, at least, the one I deem to be the most dangerous ).

Why should we whitelist you? I'm a long time player from this server, even before I understood all of its concepts, like talking in radio, taking your equipaments and so on, I tried to give the most RP as possible to myself and to the others, I may not be the best, but I'm not the worst too.

Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? No, the only ban I have is the Commander ban.

Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? No, I never was banned from any server.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor? Yes I know, and I will try not to break any of the server rules or the Predator Code of Honor.

This is your first forum post, I'd like to see you more involved with the community on the forums/discord before you went for a whitelist, I can't say I've seen you around at all but that could be a timezone issue. It strikes me as odd that you've never posted anything when you're account was made about a year ago

Yeah, despite the fact that I'm here for a year, I don't played this game nor talked in the forums for a long time, I played the Paradise Station server for most of this time, and I'm also not so active there.

Do you have any other white lists? Whitelists aren’t supposed to be a popularity contest, but predator is the ultimate elite whitelist so people at very picky as predator has the potential and ability to be the ultimate side antagonist and can destroy an entire side of unleashed

2. Well, as I said on this post, I'm not the best nor the worst, although I die a lot in both sides, and as a marine sometimes I manage to get lost and killed by the xenos, so indeed it's very hard to check my skills and RP.

As I understand, a predator player is expected to meet certain requirements regarding spelling and grammar as it is an RP role. From what I see here, you aren't ready to maintain this level. The sentences in your story are unjustifiedly complex, which makes it quite unpleasant to read and hard to understand. Your playstyle is way far from being original, I don't really think it's even worth it giving you a try.

I think it's too early at the moment, your predator application isnt bad per say, but it isn't awesome. But although you have a long time account, I suggest you work on getting a little more known in the community. I recommend you start by getting a CO whitelist so people will know who you are and your play styles.

yeah, about that, I'm actually banned from playing as CO, I will try to get un-banned later, but I don't think I will suceed because It's a long time since I got that ban

Honestly my friend if you're job banned, then I think it's an automatic DQ from any whitelist application

1. Get a little more active on the forums/community
2. Get unbanned from all your job bans
3. Get the CO whitelist first and make your name known, or play marine a lot over xeno and make sure people can see that you can fight and roleplay.

edit: Your job ban is for going SSD/AFK and logging off, just appeal that. It's usually something you can be unbanned for without a major fuss.

Resolved - Denied; work to improve on your app and be more involved with the community over the next few months. You don't need to "grind posts" to get accepted, you just need to contribute to discussions in a meaningful way.
